The senior staff team welcomes<br />
you to the Royce and Pam<br />
Money Student Recreation<br />
and Wellness Center! We boast<br />
a 108,000 square foot facility,<br />
with 3 gymnasiums, 2 pools, 2<br />
racquetball courts, 2 studios,<br />
an indoor track, free weights,<br />
pin-selected weights, cardio<br />
machines, and more. The facility<br />
opened in September 2011 as an<br />
addition to Moody Coliseum and<br />
the Gibson Physical Education<br />
building.<br />
We offer group exercise classes, personal training, lockers, and have free<br />
equipment to checkout at the member services desk. We also house the<br />
department of Kinesiology and the LEAN (The Laboratory For Experiential<br />
Activities in Nutrition).<br />
Minor Dependent Age Policies<br />
• 0-17 years old must have a parent-signed waiver on file.<br />
• 0-12 years old may use all spaces with adult supervision EXCEPT for<br />
group exercise classes, the Wessel Fitness Center, cardio machines, and<br />
the bouldering wall.<br />
• 13-14 years old may use all spaces available with adult supervision.<br />
• 15-17 years old may partcipate in all activities on their own.<br />

Purchasing a Membership Online<br />
After creating an account at srwc.acu.edu, memberships are available to<br />
purchase by clicking on Member Services and then Buy Memberships.<br />
The rec center sells memberships to ACU Alumni, Abilene Christian<br />
Schools, ACU HES, and ACU Chartwells. Individual and family<br />
memberships are available for purchase on a 3-month, 6-month, or annual<br />
basis. To sign up for the monthly recurring membership, a credit card must<br />
be saved online.<br />
ACU students, ACU retirees who have served 10+ years and are 55 or older<br />
at retirement, and ACU faculty/staff receive free memberships.<br />
FAQ<br />
1. How do we access the facility?<br />
Members may access the facility by swiping their ID cards at the turnstiles<br />
or by checking in at the member services desk. Students, faculty, and staff<br />
should pick up their ID cards at Wildcat Central located in the Campus<br />
Center. Other members should have their ID cards printed at the rec<br />
center’s member services desk.<br />
2. When are you open? What about the pool?<br />
Hours vary by semester and university holiday. Click the calendar icon<br />
located at srwc.acu.edu to see the facility’s current operating and pool<br />
hours.<br />
3. Do you allow guests?<br />
Yes. We sell rec only or pool only guest passes.<br />
