Motion-stereo systém<br />
Při použití systému v sériových vozech je aplikace spouštěna na<br />
palubním procesoru a pro zobrazení využívá zabudovaný LCD display.<br />
Kromě asistence při parkování může být vytvářená 3-D reprezentace<br />
použita ve spoustě dalších aplikací, jako je předcházení<br />
kolizí nebo automatické varování před překážkami.<br />
Résumé<br />
For many drivers, finding a parking space and parking a vehicle<br />
into a suitable parking point is an everyday problem. BMW has<br />
developed a motion-stereo system that constructs a 3D model of<br />
the area around the car from 2D images generated by a single<br />
side-view camera. Using a MATLAB system, an integrated environment<br />
for scientific calculations and creating algorithms by<br />
MathWork, engineers from BMW and THECON have developed<br />
a real-time prototype of the system, which combines images taken<br />
from different car positions with vehicle speed, wheel position by<br />
CAN data bus to determinate the shape and dimensions of the<br />
parking space.<br />
