APPOINTMENT OF A CUSTOMS AREA 

(Customs Act, Chap. 78:01) 

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred upon the Comptroller of Customs and Excise under the Customs Act, Chap. 78:01, I, Kawanhar 

Doopan, Comptroller of Customs and Excise, acting under the provisions of section 263(2) of the said Act, do hereby appoint the place 

specified in the Schedule hereto to be a Customs Area for the storage, pending consolidation for export, of the following goods, as shall 

be deposited by or in the Customs Area of Messrs. A.S.A.P. Cargo Services Limited—for transhipment and ex-warehouse goods at Chootoo 

Road, El Socorro Extension, San Juan and such other goods as I may subsequently approve. 

SCHEDULE 

An open area measuring 17.98 metres by 6.10 metres totalling 109.68 square metres and located on the southern side of 

Chootoo Road, El Socorro Extension, San Juan. It is situated on the western side of the upper floor of a building constructed 

with concrete walls and steel roofing and is secured with a steel gate at the front of the building. 

The area is bounded on the north by Chootoo Road, on the south by an open space owned by Caribbean Glass Specialists 

Limited, on the east by Z. Muzzafar Limited and on the west by an open space owned by Lincoln Fraites.
