I love the backlit hair and the light that falls off to highlight the wonderful bone structure. As the grass was in the shade and I wanted him to be more prominent in the photo I used a flashgun to the left” “Emma’s portfolio is diverse, but all the images are striking. I used the pier as a lead into Whitby and the lighthouse. I placed the life buoy to give interest to the left side of the photo” “This image is like a lesson in great composition. The wooden pier acts as the perfect lead-in to the image and the lighthouse on the left keeps the shot beautifully balanced”
