an integral part of our daily lives. SFCC’s Continuing
Education has developed computer classes to launch you
on your way to personal or professional development.

MS EXCEL
Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification is the
leading IT certification in the world. More than 1
million MOS exams are taken every year in over 140
countries. Demonstrate you have the knowledge, skills,
and abilities to productively use Microsoft Office. MOS
enables you to tap the full features and functionality
of the Microsoft Office system, resulting in heightened
levels of individual performance, confidence, and
differentiation. Students will work in a 32-hour
preparatory class concluding in the GMetrix practice
exam for MS Excel 2013. You will create and edit a
workbook with multiple sheets for a variety of purposes
and situations. Examples include professional-looking
budgets, team performance charts, sales invoices, and
exercise logs. Student who successfully complete the
practice test and exam are then prepared to take the
MOS Certification Excel exam through the SFCC
Testing Center. The exam is offered to continuing
education students for the discounted price of $55
before July 16, 2016.

Digital Imaging
PHOTOSHOP FOR BEGINNERS
This hands-on course gives you a thorough overview of
the almost limitless possibilities of Adobe Photoshop,
the premier image-editing program. Topics include
basic commands, image adjustments and enhancements,
layers, special effects, selections, cropping and saving
images for the web and email. Photoshop has many
uses: marketing and business materials, restoring and
retouching photographs and fine art imaging are just a
few of the many ways to use the program. Basic Mac or
PC skills are required.
