Material
EPDM
Ethulene-Propylene-Dien-Monomer rubber is the ideal material for sealing profiles.
• High resistance to weather and wind
• The elastic foam rubber bends to fit the varius gaps
• It has a "memory" that makes it form-retentive
• The closed cells make it impervious to water
• Temperature range -50 to +100 degrees Celsius (max 70°C for self-adhesive
profiles)
SILICONE
Silicon rubber profiles in particulare offer the lowerst resistance to closing and can be
painted over.
• Greater lifespan than EPDM
• Exceptionally resistant to chemicals and extreme temperatures
• Can be overpainted
• Temperature range -60 to +150 degrees Celsius (max 70°C for self-adhesive
profiles)
DUST EXCLUDER
Vinyl-& Polyurethane material with open cells. This profile is specially suited for
preventing dust and dirt fromgetting between window frames.
• Not airtight
• Shorter lifespan
• Less robust than the above
BRUSH PROFILES
These are used on sliding windows and doors.
