Ecovillage Design Education, EDE
og de 4 grundbøger
Social Key - Beyond You and Me
Inspiration and Wisdom for Building Community
Editors: Anja Kosha Joubert and Robin Alfred
Af Troels Dilling-Hansen
Der er vildt gang i EDE rundt omkring på verdens
5 kontinenter. I år er der kurser i Israel,
Brasilien, Salvador, Filippinerne, Thailand,
Tyskland, Skotland, Belgien, Italien. Hele tiden
kommer der nye uddannelsessteder og lærere
til. For at støtte denne udvikling har de
første lærere siden år 2002 skrevet på 4 undervisningsbøger,
"Keys" omhandlende hver
deres område af økosamfunds-curricullet, og
de udkommer i disse år. Foreløbig er den sociale
bog kommet, "Beyond you and me". Resten
udkommer i 2010-11.
The Keys are four comprehensive books compiled by members
of the GEESE, offering an overview of the state of the art of
sustainable settlements globally.
Each key covers one of the dimensions of the EDE curriculum:
Economic, Worldview, Ecological and Social.
They make ideal introductions to the EDE, companions on the
journey of an EDE course or a GEDS(Gaia Education Design of
Sustainability) virtual education or reference books for anyone
seeking solutions to the complex problems of climate
change, peak oil and carbon reduction.
