Fauconnier <strong>og</strong> Turner’s blendingteori kaster således nyt lys på en vigtig side<br />

ved læring. Blendingprocessen er en <strong>for</strong>udsætning <strong>for</strong> overførsel, mens overførsel,<br />

<strong>for</strong>stået i rammen af Gärden<strong>for</strong>’s teori, bidrager med at bygge indholdet i den<br />

nydannede struktur op. Den læringsmæssige konsekvens af blendingteorien er, at<br />

nydannelse kræver en åben <strong>og</strong> eksperimenterne, kreativ proces – <strong>og</strong> at i mangel<br />

af denne kunne en undervisning i værste fald blive til meningsløs <strong>og</strong> resultatløs<br />

indlæring – de tomme øjnes kor.<br />

Tilsammen åbner de to teorier nye perspektiver <strong>for</strong> musikalsk læring ved at<br />

være et muligt teoretisk fundament <strong>for</strong> en <strong>for</strong>m <strong>for</strong> kortlægning af ’conceptual<br />

integration networks’ <strong>og</strong> det spændende <strong>og</strong> utvivlsomt provokerende spørgsmål<br />

om integrerede <strong>for</strong>bindelser på tværs af domæner - inklusiv domæner, som ikke<br />

regulært tilhører det musikalske område.<br />
