From the Editor<br />
HAPPY EASTER!<br />
Easter is just around the corner and<br />
gardens all over Denmark will soon<br />
be teem<strong>in</strong>g with colourful crocus and<br />
daffodils. Spr<strong>in</strong>g is a beautiful time<br />
of the year for a visit to Denmark.<br />
VISIT Denmark will be promot<strong>in</strong>g<br />
Denmark to the tourist <strong>in</strong>dustry <strong>in</strong><br />
<strong>Brisbane</strong> at an event at the <strong>Club</strong><br />
organised by the Consulate General<br />
<strong>in</strong> Sydney. It’s a good opportunity<br />
for the club to present the premises<br />
to a new group. We’re also look<strong>in</strong>g<br />
forward to host<strong>in</strong>g the <strong>Brisbane</strong> Folk<br />
Music Project on Sunday, which will<br />
undoubtedly attract a wide audience.<br />
<strong>The</strong> demand for a small-sized venue<br />
like the club is strong, with a grow<strong>in</strong>g<br />
number of enquiries for wedd<strong>in</strong>gs<br />
and anniversaries as well as events<br />
held by other ethnic clubs. It<br />
provides us with a good <strong>in</strong>come to<br />
help pay our bills.<br />
