Conclusion and Advice
I am really lucky that I am the first Asian volunteer
in Kinderfreunde OÖ, as well as the one who came in
their 10th year of operation. I think it is really nice
to know more about Austrian kids, what is the difference
between kids here and China as well as between
the kinder organizations between two countries.
Kids in Austria
Children here are more independent than China.
Usually, they know what they want and can plan
more by themselves; They are good at practical
skills like building, cooking and gardening; They
have more breezy and creative.
Kids in China
Children in China they usually have a more subtle
character which means they are more shy when you
first meet them, but they will be more open than
communicating with them even just making fun
with them; They have better logical thinking because
they read or feel more by heart rather than do
it practically; they are good at persisting on What
they want to do.
Organizations in Austria
FSG is such an excellent playing centre for kids. It
really let children in near neighbourhoods know
more about each other and have more fun together
for free; Staff in FSG we encourage kids to do many
meaningful daily work as above motioned to cultivate
their thinking and practical ability, also, organize
many cost-effective excursions; Immigrants or
some children which are not rich can also feel equal
and much fun together.
Organizations in China
They are more focus on classes which are especially
for intellectual development; They are more organized
which means teachers guided or teach kids
some specific “subject“; They are not often at outside
activities like bonfire and excursions.
