Zeptosens produces and distributes a comprehensive,
planar waveguide based microarray platform achieving
highest sensitivity yet requiring little or no sample
preparation.
Products comprise a readout system, DNA and protein
microarrays, an image analysis software as well
as spotting and assay reagents.
Zeptosens offers a high quality spotting service for
oligonucleotides, antibodies and cell lysates as well as
a comprehensive and efficient protein profiling service
for quantitative detection of marker proteins in cell
and tissue lysates.
Typical Application Areas
Drug research and development, and particularly Systems Biology
require a detailed understanding of the biological events in
cellular systems and thus a multiparallel parameter detection and
quantification.
Microarrays enable a quick and precise gene as well as protein
expression analysis, protein activation and biomarker monitoring
with minute amounts of samples.
Methods for simultaneous and efficient detection of lowest concentration
of analytes are more and more being required for the
nutritional and environmental analysis.
High performance products require cleanroom production
A particle-free cleanroom facility is required to produce microarrays
with typical detection areas having the size of some onehundredth
of a square millimeter to ensure absence of contamination
and stringently monitored standard operating procedures.
Specific chip surfaces, assays and production methods have been

optimal results for gene expression analysis as well as for
