Ausstellung “Xiao ren shu – Ch<strong>in</strong>esische<br />
Bil<strong>der</strong>bücher“<br />
“Xiao ren shu” ist e<strong>in</strong>e Malform, die mit Hilfe von<br />
mehreren nache<strong>in</strong>an<strong>der</strong> gezeichneten Bil<strong>der</strong>n e<strong>in</strong>e<br />
Geschichte o<strong>der</strong> den Verlauf e<strong>in</strong>er Begebenheit<br />
beschreibt. Die ch<strong>in</strong>esischen “xiao ren shu”<br />
blicken auf e<strong>in</strong>e Geschichte von mehr als 2000<br />
Jahren zurück <strong>und</strong> gelten <strong>in</strong> Ch<strong>in</strong>a als e<strong>in</strong>e äußerst<br />
kunstvolle Darstellungsform.<br />

The history of Ch<strong>in</strong>ese picture-story books traces<br />
back to the Han Dynasty over 2,000 years ago.<br />
It is an artistic form of rich traditions <strong>in</strong> Ch<strong>in</strong>a.<br />
The fo<strong>und</strong>ation of the People’s Republic of Ch<strong>in</strong>a<br />
<strong>in</strong>jected new life <strong>in</strong>to the creation and publish<strong>in</strong>g<br />
of picture-story books. Many works still have high<br />
reference value as they reflect the customs, life,<br />
current news.<br />
