4 Installation<br />
4.6 Connecting the Unit<br />
<br />
• Insert the flexible single branch liquid light guide with the Ø16mm fitting into the light<br />
guide socket 1 in the front panel of the light source until it seats with an audible click.<br />
Shutter will not operate unless light guide is fully inserted.<br />
When using a dual branch liquid light<br />
guide the two branches must be<br />
positioned vertically above each other in<br />
the light guide socket in the front panel.<br />
• Insert the light guide all the way into the<br />
socket 1 and rotate it until it snaps into<br />
vertical position.<br />

Be sure that no fingerprints are neither on the light entry nor the light exit ends of the<br />
light guide.<br />
Fingerprints can be removed with a lint free wipe and pure alcohol.<br />
Any contamination, which has not been removed, will bake to the light guide and result<br />
in premature deterioration of performance.<br />
• Connect power cord and plug the unit into a properly grounded AC outlet.<br />
• Connect footswitch on the backside of the system, if it is required.
