you’re the most beautiful flower in the world.
Ich schnappe nach Luft. So was habe ich in meinem
ganzen Leben noch nicht gelesen. Ich glaube, ich werde
rot bis hinter beide Ohren. Leise räuspere ich mich und
werfe einen möglichst unauffälligen Blick über meine
Schulter. Niemand scheint mich zu beachten. Ich atme
einmal tief durch und lese aufgeregt weiter.
In my dream a cloud drifted past above my head, and
I climbed up onto it. I wanted to fl y straight into your
arms. The cloud brought me closer to you, and I could
see into your sparkling eyes. In them I saw a colourful
rainbow. I saw the sun and the moon and the whole of
the world. It was like a miracle.
Then, just before I reached you, my alarm clock rang
and woke me up, and wrenched me out of this beautiful
dream. But even after I woke up, I still felt as if I was
floating on a cloud. The feeling is still with me. I can’t
stop thinking about this dream. I can’t stop thinking
about you. But I don’t want to sit on a cloud all day. It
