Die automatisierte Bewegungsanalyse ist eine innovative
Technologie, die darauf abzielt, Informationen aus
Bewegungsmustern von Objekten oder Personen zu
extrahieren und mit geeigneten mathematischen Verfahren
zu bearbeiten. Durch neue Entwicklungen in der
Sensortechnologie, sowie höherer Verfügbarkeit von
Rechenleistung wird die Analyse und Optimierung von
immer komplexeren Bewegungsmustern in Industrie,
Sport und Medizin möglich. Zum Beispiel dient die Bewegungsanalyse
von Magenkrebszellen einer präziseren
Diagnose und besseren Therapiemöglichkeiten.
Basis einer automatisierten Bewegungsanalyse ist die
computergestützte Objektverfolgung, die auf Grundlage
von Beobachtungsdaten (z.B. aus einem Kamera-netzwerk)
den Verlauf einer Bewegung rekonstruiert und
die für eine Analyse notwendigen Informationen wie

Automated motion analysis is an innovative technology
that extracts information from motion patterns in objects
or persons and processes such information using
special mathematical methods. New developments in
sensor technology and greater availability of computing
power enables the analysis and optimization of ever
more complex motion problems in industry, sports and
medicine, e.g., motion analysis of stomach cancer cells
for the purpose of precise diagnosis and therapy.
The basis of automatic motion analysis is computeraided
object monitoring, which uses observation data
(e.g., from a camera network) to reconstruct the path
of a motion and extracts the information required for
analysis, such as position, velocity and orientation.
The motion data of individual objects can be combined
to motion patterns, which are compared with motion
