Specific objectives of the project are:
• elaborating innovative transnational method for local authorities of
the entire CE area - with active involvement of decision makers and
stakeholders - to raise their efficiency of energy consumption and
increase the use of renewable sources, while also considering the
negative effects of renewables;
• setting up transnational network of energy management in order
to assist the improvement of energy efficiency, renewable energy
utilization of local authorities in the CE area by proposing efficient
energy supply management methods;
• transferring the elaborated tools for enhanced renewable energy
use and energy efficiency to regional, local levels by pilot actions to
support preparations of practical energy applications;
• providing a clearer and applicable picture for decision makers on the
local renewable energy sources and the energy demand of the CE
regions; transfering the energy concepts to regional/national policies;
• raising awareness on the benefits of renewable energy supply
and energy savings;
