Carpet quality Caméléon characterizes the same thing as its animal namesake: it changes colour!!
Subtle or explicit, in every desirable shape.
As a result of exclusively developed high-tech tuft techniques Carpet Sign has been able to develop
unique colour changes within a carpet. Colours smoothly fading into another like sand being flared
out by the wind. The colour changes can be applied in several directions and shapes and the
'gradation' can be chosen in harmony with the interior.
The product consists of 100% pure new wool enabling a soft, rich and voluminous carpet. A unique
differentiation which never stops to titillate the senses.
Die Teppichqualität Caméléon hat die gleiche Eigenschaft wie das namensgleiche Tier: Sie verändert
die Farbe! Subtil oder ausdrücklich, in jeder vorstellbaren Schattierung.
Aufgrund seiner hoch entwickelten und exklusiven Tuft-Technik ist Carpet Sign in der Lage einzigartige
Farbverläufe auf einem Teppich darzustellen. Farben blenden sanft ineinander über, wie feiner Sand,
der vom Winde verweht wird. Sie können in verschiedene Richtungen und Formen verlaufen und
harmonisch mit der Inneneinrichtung abgestimmt werden.
Jeder Teppich besteht aus 100% reinem Kammgarn und ist daher aussergewöhnlich anschmiegsam,
luxuriös und elegant. Ein Unikat, welches stets aufs Neue alle Sinne verführt.
Caméléon a les mêmes caractéristiques que l'animal qui lui donne son nom: il change de couleur. De
manière subtile ou explicite, suivant les goûts de chacun.
Grâce à sa recherche technologique appliquée à la fabrication de tapis, Carpet Sign a réussi à
développer le dégradé de couleur dans le domaine du tapis. La couleur laisse doucement sa place à
une autre comme étant balayée par le vent. Le dégradé peut être appliqué dans différentes directions,
suivant différentes formes, et le contraste peut être entièrement défini en harmonie avec l'espace où
il prendra place.
La qualité 100% pure laine vierge permet d'obtenir un tapis doux, riche en matière et dense. Un
caractère unique qui éveille les sens, en permanence.

The Caméléon collection consists of a number of basic shapes: square, rectangle, circle, ellipse and
organic. Within these shapes different colour transformations can be applied as indicated on the
example pages.
The colour can change from one side to the other, e.g. from light to dark [A to B]; the colour change
can run from one side to the middle of the carpet and return [light, dark, light or reverse: A - B - A].
The colour change can run diagonal or even to the centre, e.g. a square or circle from outside to the
inside but also a circle within a square is possible. The free organic shape needs to be approved and
calculated by the technical department of the Carpet Sign Studio. In short, Caméléon offers wealth of
possibilities.
Die Caméléon Kollektion besteht aus einer Vielzahl von Basis-Elementen: Quadrate, Rechtecke,
Zirkel, Ellipsen und organische Formen. Innerhalb dieser Formen können verschiedenen Farb-Verläufe
gewählt werden, welche auf den folgenden Seiten als Beispiele aufgeführt sind.
Die Farb-Veränderung kann von einer Seite zur anderen verlaufen, z.B. von hell zu dunkel [A - B] oder
von einer Seite zur Mitte des Teppichs und zurück [hell - dunkel - hell oder umgekehrt; A - B - A]. Eine
weitere Möglichkeit ist ein diagonaler Farbverlauf zur Mitte, z.B. als Quadrat oder Zirkel von aussen
nach innen. Aber auch ein Zirkel innerhalb eines Quadrates ist möglich. Die freie organische Form
benötigt einen Entwurf und muss mit technischer Unterstützung des Carpet Sign Studios kalkuliert
werden. Kurzum: Caméléon bietet unendliche Möglichkeiten.
La collection Caméléon présente une multitude de modèles: carré, rectangulaire, rond, elliptique, et
organique. À ces différents modèles peuvent être appliqués différents types de dégradés, illustrés
dans les pages d'exemples.
Le dégradé peut s'opérer d'un coté à l'autre, par exemple du clair au foncé [A à B]; le dégradé peut
s'opérer d'un coté jusqu'au centre et revenir à la couleur de base en symétrie [clair, foncé, clair ou
inversement: A - B - A]. Le dégradé peut s'opérer en diagonale ou même jusqu'au centre, par exemple
un carré ou un cercle depuis le périmetre juqu'au centre, et pourquoi pas même un cercle dans un
carré. Le modèle organique doit être accepté et chiffré par le bureau d'étude du Carpet Sign Studio.
En résumé, Caméléon offre une foule de possibilités.

Carte Blanche
The standard colour gradation goes from one single colour [Colour 'A'] to the second single colour
[Colour 'B'] via a gradual blending and unblending of the two colours.
For an even smoother gradation, we recommend including a small percentage of Colour 'B' in the
starting Colour 'A' and likewise finishing with a small percentage of 'A' in the finishing Colour 'B'.
This will avoid the possible appearance of 'bands' across the gradation which is especially likely in
designs using strongly contrasting colours.
A computerized print of the required pattern and colours is available on request from Carpet Sign
Studio.
Die Farb-Veränderung von Caméléon entsteht aus zwei verschiedenen Farben, welche aus dem
bestehenden 'carte blanche' System gewählt werden [eine Box repräsentiert alle zur Verfügung
stehenden Einzelfarben und Garntypen]. Alle Farben der Qualität Kammgarn können eingesetzt
werden und ermöglichen eine harmonische Abstimmung auf die Farben der Inneneinrichtung. Es
gibt zwei Möglichkeiten einen 'Caméléon' zu kreieren:
• Der Standard-Farbverlauf beginnt mit einem Uni [Farbe A], verläuft in sanften Abstufungen zu
einem Farb-Mix [A + B] und weiter zu dem zweiten Uni [Farbe B].
• Den Anfang macht ein subtiler Mix zweier Farben. Zur Mitte hin nimmt eine Farbe ab, während die
andere Farbe verstärkt wird. Das Ende bildet wieder ein ausgewogener Mix beider Farben.
Ein computer-gestützter Vordruck des geplanten Musters und der gewählten Farben kann durch das
Carpet Sign Studio erfolgen. Wir übersenden Ihnen die entsprechende pdf-Datei mit dem Vorschlag
per e-mail zur Ansicht.
Le dégradé de couleur du modèle Caméléon s'obtient à partir de deux couleurs à choisir dans le
programme 'carte blanche' [la boite d'échantillon présentant toutes les couleurs de base de tapis et
les fils]. Toutes les combinaisons de couleurs sont disponibles, le niveau de contraste peut être
déterminé en fonction de l'intérieur où va se trouver le tapis:
• Le dégradé standard commence depuis une couleur uni [couleur A] et se mélange petit à petit pour
arriver à une autre couleur uni [couleur B]
• On peut avoir un mélange de couleur léger dès le départ et finir, de la mème façon

The colour transformation of the Caméléon is made out of two colours. These colours can be chosen
from the 'carte blanche' system [a box representing all singular carpet colours and yarn types]. All
worsted yarn colours can be applied, the degree of contrast can be matched with the colours of the
interior decoration. There are 2 possible ways:
• The standard colour change starts 'uni coloured' [colour A] and runs through a gradually mix back
to 'uni' [colour B].
• The start is with a subtle mixture of colours and end similarly.

Carpet Sign Studio vous fait parvenir un dessin digital de votre tapis dans les coloris & la forme de
votre choix. Si le dessin et le choix des couleurs vous conviennent Carpet Sign vous fais parvenir un
échantillon reprenant le dégradé linéaire des coloris.
