F. IP-Kennzeichnung der Schutzgrade
The degree of protection is classified according to
IEC 60529. The coding system used is the IP-Code
(International Protection). The coding denotes the level of
protection against the ingress of solid bodies (first code
number) and the ingress of water (second code number).
Die Kennzeichnung der Schutzgrade erfolgt nach
IEC 60529. Das Bezeichnungssystem, das verwendet wird
ist der IP-Code (International Protection). Er gibt den
Schutz durch Eindringen fester Körper (erste Kennziffer)
und durch Eindringen von Wasser (zweite Kennziffer) an.

water must be so restricted that no damage is caused.

measured from the bottom of the enclosure.
Duration of Test: 30 mins.
