The multitalent<br />
Manche Geschichten wiederholen sich: Mitte der 70er Jahre war es<br />
nicht üblich, dass ein Fahrzeug ab Werk schon mit einem Autoradio<br />
ausgerüstet war. Zur Nachrüstung musste deshalb nicht nur ein geeigneter<br />
Platz im Cockpit geschaffen werden, sondern auch noch ein Kabelbaum<br />
dorthin verlegt werden. Mit der Standardisierung der Erstausrüster-<br />
Geräte und dem Aufkommen der ISO Steckernorm kam es dann zu<br />
einer klaren Vereinfachung. Neuerdings zeichnet sich hier aber ein<br />
Wandel ab. Immer häufiger werden facegeliftete Fahrzeuge ausgeliefert,<br />
die nur noch einen Dauerplus und einen Minus im Radioschacht liegen<br />
haben. Zündung, Beleuchtung und Speed-Impuls müssen vom Nachrüster<br />
selbst im Kfz geortet und zum Radio hin verlegt werden. Dies<br />
ist natürlich nur unter dem gleichen Aufwand möglich wie es in den<br />
70ern war.<br />
Um dieser Entwicklung entgegen zu wirken, wurde das CAN Bus Interface<br />
der 2. Generation entwickelt. Denn eines haben die meisten neuen<br />
Fahrzeuge gemeinsam: Zündung, Beleuchtung und Speed-Impuls werden<br />
den Original-Radiogeräten per CAN-Bus zugeführt. Das Interface liest<br />
diese Informationen aus und wandelt sie in analoge Signale um. Somit<br />
erspart sich der Nachrüster die zeitraubende Suche und Kabelverlegung<br />
im Kfz.<br />
Das Interface kann aber noch mehr: nicht nur die üblichen Stromanschlüsse<br />
werden in die die normale Form gebracht, es werden auch noch die Daten<br />
der Lenkrad-Fernbedienung für Becker Traffic und Online Pro, Indianapolis,<br />
DTM, Monza mp3 und das Rückwärtsgangsignal umgewandelt und<br />
ausgegeben.<br />

Some things repeat: in the middle of the 70ies, car manufactures usually<br />
did not equip their cars with radios. For this reason, the customer not only<br />
had to prepare a suitable mounting place in the cockpit, but also had to lay<br />
a cable harness to that place. The OEM-radios‘ as well as the ISO plug<br />
standardization development made things quite easier. Recently, a change<br />
can be noticed here. More and more often face-lifted cars are delivered<br />
which have only one permanent plus and one minus in their radio slot.<br />
The ignition, the lighting and the speed-impulse have to be located in the<br />
car and laid to the radio by the re-fitter himself. And this is of course as<br />
difficult as in the 70ies.<br />
To counteract this development, the 2nd generation of CAN Bus Interface<br />
was produced. Most of the cars have in common that ignition, illumination<br />
and speed-impulse are transmitted to the original radio via CAN-bus.<br />
The Interface reads out this information and transforms it into analogue<br />
signals. As a result, the customer avoids the time-wasting search and<br />
cable-laying in the car.<br />
But the Interface can do even more: not only the usual power connections<br />
are converted into an analogue mode, but also the data from the steeringwheel<br />
remote control for Becker Traffic and Online Pro, Indianapolis, DTM,<br />
Monza mp3 and the reverse signal are transformed and put out.<br />
