Goals:
The students will be prepared for both the content and especially the procedure of the text. They will be
ready to answer complex problems in a very short time and withstand great pressure in the test
environment.
Content of the course:
The 4 parts of the exam: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Especially the synthesis of ideas using
several skills at once. Speaking quickly to exact prompts.

descriptions of experiments or other research work

practice some of the most important skills for these tasks
Content:
Discussions on “popular” technical topics from science/technology pages of newspapers but also some
reading of engineering/scientific texts, taken from journals – dipending on the interests, initiative of the
students.
Literatur: Selected chapters from the textbooks, handouts from professionell journals and newspapers and
magazines.
