Themajor advantage of Sphinx safety glass is that it is far more robust than ordinary glass. Thanks to thecharacteristics of the material, the glass meets the DIN standard. The glass is available in clear transparentor satin finished glass. Another possibility is high quality Polyrit perspex developed by Sphinx. Thisperspex is easy to keep clean and is superior on account of its brilliant surface and maximum impactresistance.It can be designed in the 'aquaperl transparent' “decor.Sphinx partitions are further characterised by their exceptional sealing qualities, thanks to the overlappingof doors and fixed elements, integral width adjustment and hinge constructions with an in-builtlifting mechanism. Depending on the design, Sphinx can also supply magnetic strips, well-constructed,easy-to-grip handrails and extra-smooth running parts.Maintenance and care of glassSphinx partitions are easy to maintain owing to the fact that all component materials are sealed andsliding doors and folding panels can be removed in next to no time. Sphinx also employs two solutionscalled GlasPlus and Sanishield, which are able to repel dirt and lime. This reduces the amount ofcleaning time.The partitions can be treated direct from the factory using GlasPlus so that the glass surface issmoother and more water repellent.Sphinx also has a solution for untreated, dirty surfaces and ceramic sanitary wares called SanishieldPre-clean and Surface Protector.Pre-Clean is a professional cleaning paste which is ideal for the removal of the most stubborn mineraldeposits, stains, lime, etc. and can easily be worked with a cloth, sponge or soft scouring brush. Afterhaving been treated with Pre-Clean, a protective layer of Sanashield Surface Protector can be applied tothe partition in order to deter dirt and lime.
