The first input is used to run the motor in the left-handdirection, the second input in the right-hand direction. If both inputs are switched onsimultaneously, nothing happens, as they are interlocked. The switching module alsofeatures an integral block on direction reversing, with a duration of 0.5 or 1 second,i.e. the motor cannot be switched abruptly from right-hand to left-hand rotation (orvice versa).To avoid premature motor wear, the switching module features a selectable soft-startwith a duration of 0.5 or 2 seconds.An optional brake function can also be activated: in this case the motor is brakedelectronically for a period of five seconds after it is switched off.
