welcomes a new theme pavilion called LASER TECHNOLOGY, which
follows in the successful footsteps of the special "Vision Laser" presentation.
Companies and institutions exhibiting at LASER TECHNO-

findings. And at a series of "technical breakfast" held every
morning, attendees will be treated to some intriguing presentations
on innovative laser applications.

Microproduction Line / Mikroproduktionslinie

The microproduction line at the VDMA stand in Hall 15 provides a close
look at how increasing miniaturization of mechanical components
is triggering adaptive changes in production and assemply. A prime
example of this can be seen at the heart of the microproduction line:
Here, a nanorobotic section handles tiny piece goods, recognizing,
postioning and dementing them with great precision, right down to
nanometer. The systems'modular design makes it possible to keep
pace with changing requirements, such as the need to increase output.
In short, the microproduction line demonstrates a winning combination
between conventional and miniaturized production.
Die Mikroproduktionslinie auf dem Stand des VDMA in Halle 15
macht deutlich, dass die zunehmende Miniaturisierung mechanischer
und elektronischer Komponenten angepasste Produktionstechniken
für Fertigung und Montage erforderlich macht. Beispiel
hierfür ist das Herzstück der Produktionslinie, die Nanorobotik-
Anlage, welche mit Nanometer-Präzision Mikro-Schüttgut erkennt,
platziert und verklebt. Der modulare Ansatz des Systems erlaubt ein
baukastenförmiges Wachstum der Anlage zu den Anforderungen
