WELCOME TO KINDERREICH MONTESSORI PRIMARY SCHOOL, GEESTHACHT!
We are happy for the opportunity to introduce our school to you on the following pages. During our open day, we would also
like to invite you to come and gain a personal impression of our school grounds, the teachers and our work. In the following,
we will provide you with a first impression.
The non-profit KinderReich Mölln GmbH operates Montessori children’s homes at Mölln and Geesthacht. With the purpose of
not only providing children with a wonderful kindergarten experience but, subsequently, also a good school, we set out and
founded the KinderReich Montessori primary school. As already in the children’s home, the learning and living activities at
school are to be aligned to the children and young adults‘ needs. Thereby, our focus remains on the personal development of
each individual child. Conveying knowledge is not the only aspect at the centre of our work. Education is a holistic process.
Here, the goals of acquiring knowledge and developing the children’s personality are on an equal footing alongside one
another – mutually defining one another. Children of our school would like to learn, and would like to do so with joy. Quite
simply, because self-paced learning is done with more pleasure and goes deeper.
