Ziel: The course is intended as preparation
for the examination leading to the International
Legal English Certificate under the
auspices of CambridgeESOL to be taken at
Bucerius Law School in the Bucerius ILEC
Examination Centre.
Inhalt: a series of lessons will be given
covering the terminology needed for the
main parts of the examination and providing
practice in examination technique.
The examination takes the standard Cambridge
format and comprises tests in reading,
writing (a letter and short memo),
listening and a paired interview. The certificate
is designed for senior students and
young legal practitioners and provides an
external, internationally recognised stan-
dard of achievement in Legal English. It is
expected to enhance the prospects of those
applying for positions in law firms with
an international focus. The exam takes
place twice a year (next date: Saturday,
12 May 2012) and costs 205 Euro for students.
The course will begin with a mock
test so that participants can gauge their
chances of success in the examination.

Ziel: Introduction au droit français et à son
langage spécifique afin d’argumenter effi-
cacement / perfectionnement du français
général. Initiation au droit français et son
lexique / maîtrise de situations courantes
de la vie juridique / techniques d’entretien,
de discussion et présentation / points de
grammaire délicats appliqués à des cas
concrets / préparation sur 1 an au Certificat
de Français Juridique. Pour participer à
ce séminaire, vous devrez avoir réussi un
test initial organisé en début d’année.
Inhalt: 4 grands chapitres relatifs aux en-
treprises et aux contrats seront traités :
Personnes juridiques : droits, obligations /
responsabilité / propriété avec 2 cas

priété intellectuelle / vie des sociétés :
formes juridiques / entreprise individuelle

l’entreprise : contrat de travail / représentation
du personnel.
Leistungsnachweis: Participation active
et régulière, une présentation orale par
trimestre et un contrôle écrit à la fin du
trimestre. Ce cours fait partie d‘un programme
sur 5 trimestres (trimestres 2 à 6)
mais peut être également suivi de façon
indépendante.
