Unendliche Liebe in
PORZELLAN
Hinter dem einzigartigen und strahlend weißen Dekor
Royal Blossom verbirgt sich nicht nur feinstes
Kunsthandwerk, sondern auch die romantischste
Überlieferung der Porzellangeschichte: Mit kostbaren
Schneeballblüten auf Weißem Gold beeindruckte
schon August III. (1696 – 1763) seine Gemahlin
Maria Josepha von Österreich (1699 – 1757). Fast
300 Jahre später erzählt MEISSEN ® die Liebesgeschichte
von Neuem.
Ob Hochzeitstafel oder elegantes Dinner – Royal
Blossom bringt mehr Romantik in jeden Tag. Dabei
ist das Dekor zugleich alltagstauglich. Die 28 Einzelteile
des Service sind stapelbar und spülmaschinenfest.
Das Besondere: Eine Untertasse passt perfekt
zu drei verschiedenen Obertassen, die je nach Anlass
und persönlicher Vorliebe kombiniert werden können.
Für unvergleichlich hochwertige Handwerkskunst steht
unser Markenzeichen: die Gekreuzten Schwerter. Seit
1722 stehen sie in Kobaltblau auf jedem Porzellan,
von Hand aufgemalt und von der Glasur geschützt.
Bei Royal Blossom sind sie jetzt zusätzlich als feine
Reliefschwerter für immer verewigt. Zurückhaltend
und harmonisch wurden sie in das Relief eingearbeitet
und unterstreichen so das Versprechen unserer
Marke. Die perfekte Bühne für das filigrane Blütenmeer
bietet die neue Form N° 41. Sie verbindet
höchste Qualität in strahlend weißem MEISSENER
PORZELLAN ® mit zeitlosem, klarem Design und
lässt die kleinen Schneeballblüten in ihrer Schönheit
glänzen.
EVERLASTING LOVE
IN PORCELAIN
As well embodying the finest in artisanry, the
unique, gleamingly white Royal Blossom pattern is
linked to the most romantic event in the history of
porcelain. Many years ago, King Augustus the Third
(1696–1763) dazzled his consort Maria Josepha of
Austria (1699 – 1757) with sumptuous snowball blossoms
on "white gold". Now, almost 300 years on,
MEISSEN ® is narrating this love story afresh.
Whether set out for a wedding feast or an elegant
dinner, Royal Blossom will make any day more romantic
and also boasts excellent practical credentials.
All 28 items in the service are stackable
and dishwasher-safe. Of particular note is that one
saucer can be paired with any of three different cups
to suit a given occasion or personal preference.
Our trademark Crossed Swords are a byword for incomparably
high-quality craftsmanship: they have
been hand-painted in cobalt blue onto every piece
of porcelain ever since 1722, then given a protective
covering of glaze. Royal Blossom now additionally
sees them immortalised in finely relief-moulded
form. They have been unshowily and harmoniously
worked into the relief decoration to underscore
our brand's pledge. Our new N° 41 shape provides
the perfect stage for a sea of finely-wrought blossoms.

Unvergängliche
PORZELLANBLÜTEN
Die zauberhaften Schneeballblüten zeugen vom
außergewöhnlichen Einfallsreichtum des Meister-
Modelleurs Johann Joachim Kaendler. Er kreierte
sie erstmals 1739 auf Geheiß König Augusts III. für
ein Service, das der Monarch seiner angehenden
Gemahlin Maria Josepha schenkte. Die kleinen Porzellanblüten
wurden einzeln von Hand geformt,
angarniert und bemalt und schmückten überreich
Tassen, Vasen und Dosen. Auch heute noch beherrschen
die Meissener Manufakturisten diese Technik
in Perfektion.
Mit seiner Arbeit schrieb Kaendler Geschichte: Nur
der hochwertige Werkstoff der Manufaktur Meissen
ermöglichte so detaillierte plastische Strukturen
auf engstem Raum. Die kleinen Kunstwerke bleiben
nur den Duft schuldig, ihre Blütenpracht aber verzaubert
auf ewig.

PERPETUAL PORCELAIN
BLOSSOMS
Mesmerising snowball blossoms testify to the extraordinary
powers of imagination of master modeller
Johann Joachim Kaendler. He originally created
them at the behest of King Augustus the Third for
a tableware service the monarch gave his brideto-be
Maria Josepha in 1739. The tiny porcelain flower-heads
were individually shaped, luted on and
painted by hand; they profusely adorned cups, vases
and boxes. Staff at the Meissen Manufactory
still master this technique to perfection today.
Kaendler wrote history with his work, though it was
only Meissen’s high-quality material that allowed fine
detail to be modelled to such an infinitesimal scale.
Fragrance is all his tiny artworks lack, something
they magically make up for by never wilting.

In der Meissener Manufaktur entstehen seit Jahrhunderten
Kostbarkeiten aus Weißem Gold, gestaltet
mit Liebe zum Detail – das ist Handwerkskunst
auf höchstem Niveau. Die vor fast 300 Jahren geschaffenen
Schneeballblüten stehen beispielhaft
dafür. Als Relief neu interpretiert, verzaubern sie im
Dekor Royal Blossom. Filigran und gleichwohl alltagstauglich,
wird die neue Geschirrserie zum täglichen
Begleiter.
In aufwendiger Handarbeit und mit der gleichen
Sorgfalt und Akribie wie einst werden die Gipsformen
für das Service gefertigt. Sie lassen sich für
höchstens 40 Abgüsse verwenden – nur so werden
die zarten Blüten auch zum perfekten haptischen
Erlebnis. Dezent und harmonisch sind die Gekreuzten
Schwerter in das Relief eingearbeitet. Seit Jahrhunderten
stehen sie für höchste künstlerische und
handwerkliche Sorgfalt – weil Schönheit und Perfektion
in der Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen Herzenssache
sind.
SUPREME CRAFT SKILLS
The Meissen Manufactory has for centuries been a
source of precious objects in "white gold" that are
consummately crafted with loving attention to detail.
The snowball blossoms created almost 300
years ago are a perfect example. They have now
been alluringly reworked in relief as the Royal Blossom
pattern. The new range of tableware, as intricately
decorated as it is serviceable, is set to become
an everyday companion.
The plaster moulds for the service are painstakingly
made by hand with the same fastidious care
as has always been the case. Their use is restricted
to a maximum of 40 castings to ensure that dainty
blossoms remain suitably well-defined. Discreetly
and harmoniously incorporated into the reliefmoulded
design are the Crossed Swords. These have
been a byword for exceptionally discerning artistry
and handicraft for centuries now – because beauty
and perfection are simply matters close to the heart
of the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory.
