galt, zeigt KONTRONIK 2012 wieder seine
Innovationskraft im allgemeinen Bereich.

Die Motoren der PREMIUM LINE haben nun
ein neues Highlight. Der PYRO 800 und
der PYRO 850 erweitern die Linie hochwertiger
Motoren nach oben. Speziell in Helikoptern
der 800er Größe und F3A Anwendungen
können die neuen PYRO Motoren ihre enorme
Kraft von über 5 kW entfalten. Eine 8 mm
Welle sichert die optimale Kraftübertragung.
Mit dem PYRO 800 und dem KOSMIK bedient
KONTRONIK die steigende Nachfrage

The new reference is called KOSMIK
Mit dem KOSMIK definiert
KONTRONIK ein neues Level im
High-End Bereich. Bereits auf
den ersten Blick wird augenscheinlich,
dass der KOSMIK
etwas völlig Neues ist.
Der KOSMIK ist dauerstromfest
bis 200 A und das bei bis zu 14 S –
das sind 10 kW Dauerleistung, in
Spitzen sogar 12 kW.
Das eigens entwickelte Gehäuse schützt
nicht nur, sondern ist essenzieller Bestandteil
des Reglerkonzepts. Trotz extrem gutem
Wirkungsgrad entsteht bei diesen Leistungsdimensionen
Restwärme im Glühlampenbereich.
Daher ist die obere Aluminiumplatte
direkt mit der Endstufe verbunden. Sie haben
es somit durch Aufsetzen verschiedenster
Kühlkörper selbst in der Hand, wie viel
Leistung Ihr KOSMIK auf Dauer verarbeiten
kann. Die untere Aluminiumplatte ermöglicht
eine stabile Befestigung im Model.
Natürlich verfügt der KOSMIK über eine
Anti-Blitz Funktion.
Ein BEC, auf das wir stolz sind
Aufsehen erregend ist das stärkste BEC,
das KONTRONIK je entwickelt hat. Mit einer
Dauerstrombelastbarkeit von 7 A und bis
zu 20 A kurzzeitig bei einer Ausgangsspannung
von 5 - 8 V ist der KOSMIK auch
für Hochleistungsservos bestens geeignet.
Ohne Störungsprobleme und Spannungsschwankungen
ist dieses starke BEC bis 14 S
voll einsatzfähig. Das ist einzigartig.
Zur Nutzung der vollen BEC-Leistung ist der
Einsatz eines zweiten BEC Kabels nötig.
Daher sind beim KOSMIK 2 BEC-Anschlüsse
vorgesehen.
Geschraubt statt gelötet
Keine Kabel. Das ist vielleicht das erste, was am
neuen KOSMIK auffällt. Damit seine enorme
Leistung optimal übertragen werden kann,
sind am KOSMIK vergoldete Kupferlaschen
vorgesehen. Daran werden entsprechende
Kabel mittels Kabelschuhen angeschraubt.
Der Kabelquerschnitt kann dabei der Strom-
anforderung angepasst werden.
Diese Verschraubung macht den Tausch der
Kabel unkompliziert und stellt eine zuverlässige
Hochstromverbindung dar. Zusätzlich zum
mitgelieferten Kabelsatz sind vorkonfektionierte
Kabel als Zubehör erhältlich.
Nichts geht verloren
Als erster KONTRONIK Regler bietet der
KOSMIK die Möglichkeit, Betriebsparameter
intern aufzuzeichnen. Im Regler sind
Drehzahl, Strom, Spannung, etc. jederzeit
vorhanden und können während des Fluges
mitgeschrieben werden. Die Daten werden
auf einer MicroSD Karte gespeichert.
Der KOSMIK bietet zudem die Option
3 externe Sensoren (z.B. zur Höhenmessung)
anzuschließen. Diese Daten werden ebenso
während des Fluges aufgezeichnet.
Über einen schnellen MicroUSB Anschluss
kann der KOSMIK direkt mit dem PC
verbunden werden.
Vielfach programmierbar
Die bewährte Modusprogrammierung ist
auch im KOSMIK implementiert. Damit ist
der Regler schnell einsatzbereit und kann
innerhalb kürzester Zeit auf unterschiedliche
Anwendungen angepasst werden.
Über die PROGDISC ist der KOSMIK parametrisierbar.
Dieses Programmiergerät
ermöglicht die Veränderung individueller
Parameter und hilft, den KOSMIK an die
persönlichen Präferenzen anzupassen.
Natürlich ist der KOSMIK auch online
updatefähig. Dadurch können Software-
Updates bequem zu Hause aufgespielt
werden. Ausfallzeiten gehören damit der
Vergangenheit an.
Kommunikation auf einen Blick
Zwei Bicolor-LEDs verleihen dem KOSMIK ein
breites Spektrum an Signalausgaben. Diese
werden sowohl zur Diagnose, als auch zur
Programmierungsunterstützung genutzt.

The KOSMIK‘s new cooling concept with two

allows operation at extreme high contiuous
current. No other KONTRONIK ESC could
ever take that high current.
BEC
One important feature of the KOSMIK
is the strongest BEC KONTRONIK has ever
developed. With a voltage from 5 V up
to 8 V and a current capacity of 7 A continuous
and up to 20 A peak the KOSMIK is the ESC
for the most demanding tasks. Two BEC ports
allow for using full current when using
the second BEC cable.
Screwed instead of soldered
No wires. This is maybe the first thing
you notice looking at the new KOSMIK.
In order to handle the enormous power
the KOSMIK is provided with gold tabs instead
of the familiar soldered cables.
Before usage cables and tabs are connected
via screws and cable shoes. This concept
makes exchanging cables easy and forms a
reliable high current connection.
Data interfaces
Therefore the KOSMIK, in addition to three
connectors for sensors and telemetry,
provides a fast micro USB port in order to give
out and process operation data.
Mode-Programming
The well-known and proven KONTRONIK
Mode-Programming is also implemented in the
KOSMIK. Thus, the ESC is rapidly deployable
and can be customized for different applications
within the shortest possible time.
PROGDISC compatibel
The KOSMIK can be parameterized using
the KONTRONIK PROGDISC. This allows to
change individual parameters and helps
to adjust the KOSMIK to your personal preferences.
Online updatable
Of course, the KOSMIK is also updatable
online. This allows software updates easily
set at home. Long downtimes caused by
sending and waiting are a thing of the past.
LED
Equipped with two bi-colored LEDs
the KOSMIK offers a wide range of signal
outputs. These can be used for both
diagnostic purposes, as well as for programming
support.
Logger
As the first KONTRONIK ESC the KOSMIK
offers the possibility of recording operating
parameters internally. Internal recording
delivers more detailed data than an
external system could ever supply. With the
high recording capacity and speed KONTRONIK
delivers state-of-the-art technology.
MicroSD Card
All recorded data are written on a MicroSD
card. This enables a flexible analysis of
a great data volume.

Der KOSMIK bietet in gewohnter KONTRONIK
Zuverlässigkeit ausreichend Leistung für
anspruchsvolle Piloten. Zwei Versionen mit 160 A
oder 200 A Dauerstrom bei 5 –14 S LiPo bringen
jedes Modell kraftvoll auf Hochtouren.
Der Dauerstrom ist dabei definiert auf eine
Akkukapazität von 10.000 mAh und abhängig
von der Kühlung.
Mit einem integrierten, einstellbaren BEC, das
auch HV Servos problemlos unterstützt und
verschiedenen Modi für Segler, Motormaschinen,
Helikopter, Boote und RC-Cars (incl. Vorwärts- /
Rückwärtsfahrt) ist der KOSMIK flexibel
einsetzbar. Neben einem zweiten Helikoptermodus
mit fester Drehzahspeicherung ist auch
für Scale Helis ein besonderes sanftes Anlaufverhalten
implementiert.
Im Lieferumfang enthalten sind zum Anschrauben
vorgefertigte Motor- und Akkukabel,
sowie ein BEC-Kabel. Optional erhältlich sind
spezielle KOSMIK Kühlkörper, die die volle Leistungsfähigkeit
des KOSMIK sicherstellen.
The KOSMIK delivers sufficient power for the
ambitious pilot at the established KONTRONIK
reliability. Two versions with 160 A or 200 A
continuous current at 5 S to 14 S LiPo bring
every model powerfully in motion.
The continuous current is defined for a battery
capacity of 10,000 mAh.
With its integrated and adjustable BEC the
KOSMIK even supports HV servos. Different

erwartet Sie ein Reglerkonzept,

High-Tech-Einheit
Durch das integrierte,
schlagfeste Gehäuse
aus speziellem Polyamid ist
der JIVE nicht nur vor mechanischer Be-
schädigung, sondern auch vor Spritzwasser
optimal geschützt. Das verwendete
Kunststoffmaterial – speziell für das Verspritzen
von Elektronik entwickelt – wird aus bio-
logischen Grundstoffen hergestellt und ist
völlig ungiftig.
Leistung durch „Coolness“
Die freiliegende Kühlfläche ist optimal mit
den Leistungsbauteilen verbunden und sorgt
für eine gute Wärmeabfuhr. Durch den
zusätzlichen Einbau einer Luft- oder Wasserkühlung
lässt sich das Leistungsvermögen
Ihres JIVE Reglers deutlich steigern.
Die Bezeichnung 80+ heißt also: min-
destens 80 A. Gute Kühlung ermöglicht
deutlich mehr Leistung.
Starkes BEC
Weitere Highlights warten im Inneren der
JIVE-Regler. Herausragend ist hier ihr
leistungsstarkes BEC, das zudem mit der
PROGCARD II oder der PROGDISC zwischen
5-6 V Ausgangsspannung einstellbar ist.
5 A Dauerstrom mit 15 A Spitze ermöglichen
auch im Heli die extremsten Kunstflug-
figuren. Um diese Leistung im Modell zur
Verfügung zu stellen, haben die JIVE-Regler
zwei parallele BEC Ausgangsbuchsen.
Mit Hochspannung erwartet
Einzigartig sind die HV-Typen, denn sie
verfügen ebenso über ein 5 A Dauer BEC
mit 15 A Spitze bei 12 S (16-50 V)! Dadurch
wird ein sicherer BEC-Betrieb bis 12 S
nutzbar – natürlich ohne Spannungsschwankungen
und Störungsprobleme, denn
selbstverständlich wurden die JIVE-Regler auf
unserem hauseigenen EMV-Prüfstand
auf Herz und Nieren getestet.
Ihr Regler denkt mit!
Der JIVE kontrolliert vor und während des
Einsatzes alle notwendigen Daten.
Nach dem Einsatz informiert der JIVE den
Piloten, ob er den Regler im Überlastbereich
betrieben hat, um eventuellen Ausfällen
vorzubeugen.
F3A-Bremse gefällig?
Der JIVE bietet eine einstellbare Bremsfunktion,
die F3A-Piloten konstante Geschwindigkeit
in den Abwärtspassagen der Kunstflugfiguren
ermöglicht.
Zweiter Helimodus
Die JIVE Regler verfügen über zwei Heli Modi.
Beide sind mit der sehr feinfühligen
Drehzahlregelung ausgestattet. Während in
Modus 11 die einmalig erlernte Rotor-
drehzahl beim Abziehen des Antriebakkus
erhalten bleibt, wird diese in Modus 4
(Standard Heli Modus) bei jedem Anstecken
neu eingelernt.

The JIVE follows a concept that will
convince you.
High-tech unit
Its integrated shock-resistant housing made
from a specific polyamide protects the
JIVE ESCs from mechanical damage and makes
it waterproof. The used plastic material
– especially developed for injection moulding
of electronic parts – is made of biologocal
materials and so absolutely nontoxic.
Power by coolness
Obvious is the huge cooling plate. It is
perfectly connected with the power parts,
provides good heat transfer and enables
additional cooling to be realized. It is possible
to raise the performance enormously by
installing an additional air or water cooling.
The naming 80+ means: minimum 80 A.
With a good extra cooling it is possible to get
remarkably more power
Strong BEC
Further highlights are waiting inside,
for example the strong BEC which is adjustable
between 5 V and 6 V output voltage
with PROGCARD II or PROGDISC. It offers 5 A
continuous BEC current with 15 A in peak.
That’s enough for all spectacular flight figures
even in helicopters. To provide this power
the JIVE ESCs have got two parallel BEC output
jacks.
High-voltage surprise
Unique too is the BEC of the HV Types, which
also offers 5 A continuous current with
15 A peak current up to 12 S (16-50 V)! This
after all allows a secure BEC usage for
all applications up to 12 S, of course without
any voltage swing and without interferences
– proven by thorough tests on our
own EMV test bench.
This ESC shows initiative!
Before and during operation the JIVE controls
all necessary data.
After each operation the JIVE informs the pilot,
whether it was used in overload in order
to prevent from potentional malfunctions.
Would you like a F3A brake?
The JIVE is waiting with an adjustable break,
which allows F3A pilots to fly constant
downward speed passages during their
acrobatic figures.
Second Heli mode
JIVE ESCs feature two helicopter modes.
Both support the extremely sensititve
KONTRONIK RPM control. In mode 11 the
JIVE stores the learned rotor RPM even
if the battery is disconnected. In standard
mode 4 the JIVE learns the optimal
rotor RPM with each battery connection.

POWERJIVE 120+ HV HELI JIVE 120+ HV
Die Hochvolttypen verfügen mit dem
POWERJIVE 120+ HV über einen etablierten
Powerregler. Er stellt so viel Leistung
zur Verfügung, dass selbst alt eingesessene
Verbrenner-Piloten begeistert auf Elektro-
antrieb umsteigen. Durch seinen Spannungsbereich
bis 12 S und seine starke BEC-
Funktionalität über den gesamten Bereich ist der
POWERJIVE 120+ HV sehr flexibel einsetzbar.
The POWERJIVE 120+ HV is a strong and
established ESC. This high voltage ESC is so
powerful that even long time nitro pilots
swich to this electric set-up. Due to the voltage
range of up to 12 S and its strong BEC
functionality the POWERJIVE 120+ HV is very
flexible in usage.
Der HELI JIVE wurde speziell auf die Bedürfnisse
ambitionierter Helikopter Piloten ausgerichtet.
Er verfügt neben den gewohnten Heli Modi über
einen neuen Kombimodus.
Hier startet der Regler mit Sanftanlauf als Steller
und schaltet ab einer programmierbaren
Drehzahlschwelle in den Drehzahlregelbetrieb um.
Dadurch kann im Schwebeflug der Drehzahlwert
direkter über den Knüppel gesteuert werden
und ist nicht durch die Drehzahlregelung
beeinflusst. Des Weiteren hat der HELI JIVE eine
Autorotationsfunktion, die zugeschaltet
werden kann. Dies ermöglicht das schnelle Wie-
deranfahren des Motors im Flug. Die Akti-
vierung dieser Funktion erfolgt über den Sender.
Im Lieferumfang des HELI JIVEs sind 2 BEC
Kabel und der spezielle JIVE Kühlkörper enthalten.
The new HELI JIVE is tuned to the needs of
ambitious helicopter pilots. Beside the
established two heli modes the HELI JIVE
features a brand new combination mode.
Until an adjustable RPM the JIVE operates in
fixed throttle control. When reaching
the programmed RPM the JIVE switches to
governor mode. This allows precise hovering
with deactivated governor. An additional
autorotation function allows a quick motor
restart during flights. This new funtion
is activated via transmitter. The HELI JIVE
package includes two BEC cables and

Diese beiden JIVE Drehzahlsteller wurden
auf den Einsatz in Wettbewerbsmodellen
abgestimmt. Während der LV Regler für 4 S
und 5 S Anwendungen gedacht ist, steht für 6 S
der HV Typ zur Verfügung. Beide Typen
verfügen zudem über eine einstellbar verzögerte
Bremse. Diese dient der Schonung des
Getriebes und kann optimal auf den einzelnen
Antrieb und den jeweiligen Flugstil angepasst
werden. Die Verzögerung kann über die implementierten
Modi variiert werden. Die Schutzfunktionen
der FAI JIVE wurden speziell auf die
Regelung der extrem niederinduktiven,
hochdrehenden Motoren für den FAI Einsatz
abgestimmt. Im Lieferumfang sind hochwertige
6 mm Goldkontakt-Stecker enthalten.
These two new JIVE ESCs are specially
designed for competition models. While the
LV version is designed for 4 S and 5 S
applications, the HV version was made for 6 S.
Both JIVE ESCs have an adjustable delayed
brake. It protects gearboxes and can be adapted
to the individual set-up and flight style
by different installed modes. To allow FAI
applications with low inductance motors
the protection functions of the FAI JIVE are
adjusted. FAI JIVE package includes high-end
6 mm gold connectors.

Ein JIVE hat nicht nur eine perfekte Drehzahl-
regelung für den Helikopter-Betrieb – auch in
größeren RC Cars und Rennbooten hat er
bereits gezeigt, welche Leistungsvielfalt in ihm
steckt. Die einzelnen Regler verfügen über
identische Funktionalität und unterscheiden
sich nur durch ihre Strombelastbarkeit.

The two low voltage types cover the range
from 80 A up to 100 A continuous current.
With a voltage range of 2 S to 6 S LiPo batteries
they are the perfect ESCs for ambitious
applications. A JIVE ESC is not only known
for its excellent RPM control,
it also demonstrates its wide diversity in bigger
RC car and speed boat applications. All
JIVE ESCs have the same functionality and only
differ in their continuous current ability.

Das BEC-Kabel der JIVEs ist nicht gelötet,
sondern wird gesteckt. Im Lieferumfang der
JIVEs ist natürlich ein Kabel enthalten.
Der JIVE stellt einen maximalen BEC-Strom von
15 A zur Verfügung. Ein marktübliches
BEC-Kabel reicht nicht aus, um diesen Strom
zu leiten. Um den vollen BEC-Strom
nutzen zu können, muss daher ein weiteres
BEC-Kabel mit dem Empfänger verbunden
werden. Dieses ist als Zubehör mit integriertem
Ringkernentstörfilter erhältlich. Es wird in
die zweite, parallele Slave-Buchse eingesteckt.

The BEC cable is not soldered to the JIVE ESCs,
but plugged in. Of course one BEC cable
is included in delivery.
The JIVE delivers a maximum BEC current of
15 A. Since no custom BEC cabel can
handle such a high current, a second BEC cable
has to be connected to the receiver to use
the full current. This cable is available as an
accessory including the torodial core.
It has to be connected to the second parallel
slave output jack of the JIVE ESC.

Die freigesparte Aluminium-Kühlplatte ist
optimal mit den Leistungsbauteilen verbunden
und sorgt so für eine gute Wärmeabfuhr.
Durch Aufkleben eines Lüfters, eines Kühlkörpers
oder einer Wasserkühlung lässt sich die Dauer-
leistung des JIVE enorm steigern. Denn bei guter
Kühlung arbeitet der JIVE problemlos auch
bei doppeltem Strom.
Natürlich bietet KONTRONIK einen passenden
Kühlkörper an (siehe Zubehör Seite 56).

The aluminium cooling plate is perfectly
connected to the power parts. So it provides a
good heat transfer. The continuous power
of the JIVE can be increased significantly by
fixing a fan, a heat sink or a water cooling
on the plate. Good cooling allows the JIVE
to handle double current without any

Die Modus-Programmierung übernimmt
die Einstellung der vielen Optionen der
SUN PLUS-Line – Bremsstärke, Strombegrenzung
oder Unterspannungsabschaltung müssen
nicht einzeln programmiert werden. Es genügt,
den Einsatzbereich anzuwählen. Die benötigten
Optionen werden vom Drehzahlsteller selbst-
ständig gesetzt. Eine wesentliche Schutzfunktion
der SUNs ist ihr Verpolschutz. Werden
Plus und Minus am Akku vertauscht, entsteht
kein Defekt am Regler. Selbstverständlich
ist ein LiPo-Modus integriert, der die notwendigen
Anpassungen bei der Verwendung
von LiPo-Akkus vornimmt.
Im Heli-Modus wird die Gasnachregelfunktion
(APC) aktiviert – eine KONTRONIK Entwicklung
und ausschließlich in SUN PLUS Reglern
verfügbar. Sie regelt das Gas in dem Maße nach,
in dem die Akkuspannung nachlässt.
Im Heli-Modus sind nahezu alle Abschaltmechanismen
deaktiviert. Kein unerwünschtes
Abschalten kann die Flugsicherheit gefährden.
Ein RC-Car Modus (proportionale Bremse,
schnelleres Ansprechverhalten) ist in den
SUNPLUS Reglern realisiert. Die Programmierung
kann auch über die KONTRONIK PROGCARD
erfolgen, mit der sich alle Optionen auch
auf dem Flugfeld ohne zusätzlichen PC einzeln
einstellen lassen. Alle SUN PLUS Drehzahl-
steller haben einen aktiven Freilauf und sind
dadurch voll teillastfest. Dank 2 A BEC
sind alle SUNs für die Versorgung von bis zu
4 Servos ausgelegt. Die Unterspannungsabschaltung
erfolgt automatisch in Abhängigkeit
des eingesetzten Akkus.
Der integrierte Überlastschutz der SUNs basiert
auf einer intelligenten Strombegrenzung,
die abhängig von der Temperatur des Drehzahl-
stellers, den Motor im Überlastfall abregelt.

polarity. If plus and minus are swapped when
connecting the battery, no damage will

The Heli Mode provides an Automatic Power
Compensation. APC was develloped by
KONTRONIK and is available only in SUN PLUS
ESCs. It compensates the decreasing battery
voltage by increasing the motor current. In Heli
Mode most protection circuits are deactivated.
No objectionable cut-off can risk flight safety.
Also integrated is a RC-Car Mode which offers
a proportional brake for precise braking
and an immediate throttle response for fast
acceleration.
The programming of the SUN PLUS ESCs can
also be done by PROGCARD which allows
to adjust all parameters on the flying field without
a computer.
Due to the 2 A BEC all SUN PLUS are prepared
for an adequate supply of maximum 4 servos.
SUN PLUS ESCs come with the active freewheeling
circuit which means they have a full
part load capability.
The level for the low voltage cut-off is
calculated automatically when the battery pack
is connected to the ESC.
The performance and integrity of the unit
are maintained by intelligent protection features.
By measuring the temperature of the ESC,
power to the motor is reduced if an overload is
detected.

bis 150 °C hitzefest sind. Die Wicklung besteht
aus speziellem, extrem hitzefestem Draht,
der auch in der Raumfahrt verwendet wird.
Dieser Draht ist bis 300 °C spezifiziert.
Bei Leistungen bis über 5 kW entsteht auch bei
diesem hohen Wirkungsgrad viel Wärme
im Motor. Eine neue, speziell konstruierte Luft-
führung sorgt dafür, dass die PYROs diese
Wärme zuverlässig abgeben können.
Vor allem für Helikopter Anwendungen sind
PYRO Motoren bereits zum Referenzantrieb
geworden.

PYRO motors as part of the KONTRONIK

The PYRO line is extended by the bigger
and more powerful PYRO 800 and PYRO 850.
Using high quality components and modern
technologies an extremely low internal
resistance and a remarkable high efficiency
was realized. Big ball bearings with
lower abrasion round out the high performance
equipment.
To achieve this a high-quality Neodym
material has been used for the magnets –
heat resistible up to 150 °C.
The winding has been made of an extremely
heat resistant copper wire normally
used by the aerospace industry. This wire
can be stressed up to 300 °C.
The rotating can additionally gets a precise
balancing making the thin section bearing
unnecessary.
A continuous power of up to 5 kW produces
a lot of heat – even in such efficient
motors as the PYROs. A new designed cooling
stream enables the PYROs to give off
that heat absolutely reliable.
Especially in helicopters the PYROs are already
reference drives.

Power house for a real experience
In den KONTRONIK TANGO-Motoren
ist die einmalige „eisenverlustlose“ Te chnik
realisiert. Der Eisenrückschluss bewegt
sich mit dem Mag neten. Dadurch entfallen
die Ummagnetisierungs-Verluste im Eisen.
Dies führt zu einem deutlich höheren
Wirkungsgrad.
Die TANGO-Motoren zeichnen sich durch
kompakte, leichte Bauform, extrem hohes
Drehmoment und einen sehr hohen Wirkungsgrad
aus. Ihre integrierte Luftkühlung
sorgt zusätzlich dafür, dass die im Kupfer
entstehende Wärme sofort abgegeben wird
und verringert somit nochmals die schon
sehr geringen Kupferverluste.
TANGO-Motoren sind im Bereich 650 bis
1300 U/min/V fein abgestimmt in sechs Typen
erhältlich. Sie sind prädestiniert für leistungs
starke Hubschrauber-Antriebe, aber auch
im übrigen Modellbau, z.B. in Elektro-Impellern
oder Kunstflugmaschinen, können sie
zusammen mit den JIVE-Reglern überzeugen.

der PROGDISC setzt Maßstäbe in Bezug auf
Programmiermodule.
Vergessen Sie alles, was Sie bisher über die
Bedienung von Programmierkarten und
Modulen wussten. Die PROGDISC wird Sie
durch intuitiven Bedienungskomfort und
einfache Handhabung begeistern.
Über ein integriertes Farbdisplay werden Sie
durch das Menü geführt. Die sensorge-
steuerte Bedienung erfolgt einfach durch
Neigen und Kippen und das Bestätigen

KONTRONIK bietet die Getriebe KPG25
und KPG27 fertig montiert auf KIRA-Motoren
an. Das KPG25 kann aber auch auf allen
Motoren mit 3,17 mm Wellendurchmesser
mittels Adapter flansch nachgerüstet werden.
Das KPG25 wiegt ca. 60 g, ist wartungsfrei
und in der Über-setzung 4,2:1 und 5,2:1
erhältlich.
Das KPG27 gibt es als Ersatzteil in den
Übersetzungen 4,2:1 und 5,2:1. Für die 6,7:1
Übersetzung sind alle Teile einzeln verfügbar,
da das Motorritzel hier eine verzahnte
Welle ist und somit nicht nach-/umgerüstet
werden kann.
Im Lieferumfang des Getriebes ist das Motorritzel
enthalten, das mit einem Loctite-Klebstoff
(z. B. Loctite 648) auf die Welle geklebt
werden muss. Die Verklebung lässt sich mit
Hitze wieder lösen.
Im Lieferumfang sind natürlich die nadelgelagerten
Planeten enthalten. Das Getriebe
ist bereits geschmiert.
Bei nach träglicher Umrüstung eines
Direktantriebs auf Getriebe muss ein passender
Adapterflansch dazugekauft werden.
KONTRONIK offers KPG25 and KPG27
mounted on KIRA motors.
The KPG25 can also be mounted later
on all motors with a 3.17 mm shaft using an
adaptation flange.
KPG25 has a weight of approximately
60 g, is maintenance-free and available with
the gear ratios 4.2:1 and 5.2:1.
KPG27 is obtainable as spare part with the
gear ratios 4.2:1 and 5.2:1. For the gear
ratio 6.7:1 all parts are available separately for
the motor pinion in this case is a geared
shaft which cannot be changed or upgraded.
The motor pinion has to be glued to the
motor with a Loctite adhesive (e.g. Loctite 648).
The bonding can be removed with heat, e.g.
for changing the gear ratio.
Of course the needle-mounted planets
are included in delivery and the gear box
is already lubricated.
The fitting adaptation flange must
be ordered separately, when changing
a direct drive to a geared one.

auf die Kühlfläche der JIVE-Regler.
KONTRONIK empfiehlt die Fixierung des Kühl-
körpers an einem JIVE Drehzahlsteller
mittels metall-klebenden Cyanacrylat (Sekunden
kleber) vorzunehmen. Dünnflüssiges
Cyanacrylat minimiert den Luftspalt zwischen
JIVE und Kühlkörper und fördert somit
die Wärmeleitung.

(superglue) for fixing the heat sink on the

Die konsequente Verfolgung unserer

Wir sind bestrebt Ihnen jederzeit den
bestmöglichen Service zu bieten. Daher werden
Service-Leistungen in der Regel innerhalb
von 48 Stunden erledigt. Das heißt: Heute
bei uns im Haus – übermorgen auf dem Weg
zurück. Sollte eine direkte Kontaktaufnahme
notwendig sein, kann sich in Einzelfällen
die benötigte Zeit entsprechend verlängern.
Reparaturen können entweder über
den Fachhändler oder direkt an uns geschickt
werden.
Unabhängig vom Produkt beträgt die Gewähr-
leistungszeit innerhalb der EU 24 Monate.
Gewährleistungsansprüche sind nicht auf Dritte
übertragbar.
Eine nachträgliche Anerkennung der Gewährleistung,
z.B. bei fehlender Rechnungs-
kopie, wird mit einer Aufwandspauschale von
EUR 30,– in Rechnung gestellt.
Die folgenden Dokumente werden zur
Serviceabwicklung benötigt:
• Kopie des Kaufbeleges und eine ausführlicheFehlerbeschreibung/Reparaturformular.
Das erleichtert und beschleunigt
die Reparatur.
• Bei Einsendung muss das Produkt
elektrisch und mechanisch unverändert
sein. Anbauteile wie Motorritzel müssen
Gewährleistung / Warranty
vor dem Einsenden entfernt werden, da
sich die Reparatur durch die Demontage
unnötig verzögert und zusätzlich eine
schriftliche Einwilligung seitens des Kun-
den zur Demontage zwingend notwendig
ist. Haftung für etwaige Beschädigung
der Anbauteile bzw. des Produktes
wird nicht übernommen. Der entstehende
Mehraufwand wird in Rechnung
gestellt. Fehlt der Auftrag zur Demontage
wird das Produkt unrepariert und unfrei
zurückgeschickt.
• Zur Vermeidung von Versandproblemen
achten Sie bitte darauf, dass Ihre
Anschrift für die Rücksendung gut lesbar
vermerkt ist.
Die Kosten für eine Reparatur außerhalb der
Gewährleistung entnehmen Sie bitte unserer
Homepage. Sollte eine Reparatur unter
wirtschaftlichen Gesichtspunkten nicht mehr
sinnvoll sein, kontaktieren wir Sie bezüg-
lich eines Austausches zu Sonderkonditionen.
Der Versand erfolgt zum Selbstkostenpreis.
Eine Rücksendung defekter Produkte erfolgt
nur auf ausdrücklichen Wunsch und auf
Kosten des Kunden. Ansonsten verpflichten
wir uns, das Produkt dem fachgerechten

All services are generally provided with-
in 48 hours after receiving the product at our
facility. Under certain circumstances it
may be necessary to contact the customer with
respect to cost of repair or availability.
KONTRONIK offers a 24 month warranty from
the date of purchase if the product is bought
within the EU. Outside the EU, respective
national legal requirements apply. A later acceptance
of warranty, e.g. by missing purchase
receipt, will cause a handling charge of EUR 30.–
In order to receive warranty service you
must send:
• The original detailed purchase receipt
(indicating purchase date, store, and product)
and include an exact description of the
problem you are experiencing.
• The product must be electrically or
mechanically unchanged. This means that
attachments such as pinions have
to be removed before sending in. Failing to
remove attachments will result in delay
of service and makes an agreement to
remove attachments signed by the customer
compulsory. KONTRONIK can‘t be made
liable for damages resulting from removing
attachments. Removal service of attachments
will be billed according to effort.
If this agreement is missing the product will
be shipped back unrepaired on your cost.
• To avoid shipping problems, please include
your return address not only on the shipping
package, but also within the package and
indicate a valid email address.
If a repair is economically not feasible
KONTRONIK may replace the product. Defective
items will be returned to you only on your
request and at your own cost. In all other cases
the product will be recycled. It is very important
that you provide a detailed description of
the failure. This speeds up repair and lowers
cost. Defective items can be sent in through
your dealer or directly to us. Please find cost
for repair on our website.

Shell Eco Marathon 2011 – powered by
KONTRONIK
Mit möglichst wenig Kraftstoff möglichst
weit fahren ist die Maxime des Shell Eco
Marathon. Wie bereits im Jahr zuvor
unterstützte KONTRONIK auch 2011 das
Team ProTron der Fachhochschule Trier mit
Know-how und Antriebstechnik aus dem
Modellbau.
Mit TANGO Motoren und JAZZ Reglern
ausgerüstet erreichte das Fahrzeug der
Urban Concept Klasse mit Batterieantrieb
den Sieg in der Gesamtwertung und stellte
mit 233 km/kWh eine neue Bestleistung auf.
In der Prototypenklasse errang das Team aus
Trier wie im Vorjahr Rang drei.
Diese Ergebnisse demonstrieren – neben der
hervorragenden Arbeit der FH Trier – ein
weiteres Mal die Effizienz der KONTRONIK
Antriebe. Selbst in „großen“ Anwendungen,
in Mobilitätskonzepten von morgen, halten
sie aufgrund des exzellenten Wirkungsgrads
und der zuverlässigen Belastbarkeit nicht nur
Stand, sondern sind ganz vorn mit dabei.

Trier zu diesem zukunftsweisenden Erfolg.
Shell Eco Marathon 2011 – powered by
KONTRONIK
Drive with as little fuel as possible is the
maxim of the Shell Eco Marathon. Just like
2011, KONTRONIK again supported the
ProTron Team of the Fachhochschule Trier
with know-how and drive technology.
Equipped with TANGO motors and JAZZ ESCs
the battery-powered vehicle of the Urban
Concept class succeeded in the total classification
and set a new world record with
233 km/kWh.
In the Prototype class, the team from Trier,
just like the year before, finished third.
These results demonstrate - besides the
excellent work of FH Trier - once again the
efficiency of KONTRONIK drives. Even in
„big“ applications – future mobility concepts –
they do not only bear up but due to their
excellent efficiency and reliable capability
they are quite ahead with it.
We congratulate the team ProTron of FH Trier
to this pioneering success.
