ast du bereits konkrete Vorstellungen über
deinen zukünftigen Beruf?
Für mich ist die Atmosphäre das Wichtigste bei
der Arbeit. Ich möchte mich in der Umgebung wohl
fühlen und meine Kreativität einbringen können. Sehr
konkrete Vorstellungen habe ich nicht, da ich das Gefühl
habe, mir stehen mit der Biotechnologie sehr viele Türen
offen. Ich möchte einfach Spaß an der Arbeit haben.
Möchtest du in Österreich arbeiten oder zieht es dich
beruflich ins Ausland?
Ich werde auf jeden Fall in Österreich bleiben. Besonders
in Wien gibt es meiner Meinung nach viel Angebot
für Biotechnologie-Alumni, sei es in der Forschung oder
Industrie. Außerdem möchte ich nicht weit weg von
meiner Familie sein. Ich schließe es jedoch nicht aus,
irgendwann für ein paar Monate beruflich ins Ausland
zu gehen.
Wie sieht dein idealer Arbeitgeber aus?
Ich bevorzuge flache Hierarchien. Ich erwarte mir, dass
Arbeitgeber ihre Arbeitnehmer nicht nur als Mittel zum
Zweck sehen, sondern auch als Menschen wahrnehmen
und respektieren.
Welche Studieninhalte waren für dich besonders
interessant?
Der medizinische Aspekt der Biotechnologie war für
mich immer der interessanteste, weshalb ich in Zukunft
gerne in diesem Bereich arbeiten möchte.

As a master student who specializes in agromunicipal
resource management, I would like to
stay in this field and be part of research on a
number of agricultural issues. Another desirable option
is to work as an environmental consultant to provide
sustainability assistance and support. I wish to work 30
hours per week, so I am never exhausted because of
my job. My plans are to stay in Austria, especially Vienna,
as I established my life and feel so comfortable in
this setting. Vienna is a wonderful city to have a first,
official job, but I won't restrict myself too much. I will
also probably try to find jobs in other cities in Austria,
Germany, Great Britain or Czech Republic. Moreover,
my ideal employer would be a company or institution
that offers the flexibility of occasional remote work
and promotes a collaborative team environment. Laboratory
work is also appealing to me, as I greatly enjoyed
studying lab-related courses. My life now after
my studies has the possibility to drastically change, and
this is very exciting.
