Company Profile- English: The University of Applied Sciences offers a wide range of
“green" study courses from agriculture to human nutrition and biotechnology.
At the education cluster at the Triesdorf campus, the university cooperates closely with
the agricultural centre of Northern Bavaria to provide graduates with practical skills and a
thorough knowledge of sustainable agriculture. The education cluster comprises
institutions such as a training farm, an advanced farm machinery training centre, an
animal husbandry training centre as well as several types of vocational and professional
schools including an advisory and training centre for renewable energies as well as a
centre for adult education.
A special feature of the university is the centre for the accredited Intern. MBA-Programme
in Agricultural Management. The course has successfully qualified more than 1200 students
from more than 30 countries. As it especially caters to the needs of development and
transformation countries seeking to strengthen their agricultural sector, the programme
has established co-operations with more than 40 universities from South America to
Kazakhstan. The centre also implements a wide range of international projects in the
fields of agricultural education and training.
Deutsch: Die Fachhochschule bietet ein breites Spektrum von "grünen" Studiengängen an,
angefangen mit der Landwirtschaft zur menschlichen Ernährung und Biotechnologie.
In dem Bildungscluster am Campus Triesdorf, kooperiert die Universität eng mit dem
landwirtschaftlichen Zentrum Nordbayerns um Absolventen mit praktischen Fähigkeiten
und gründlichen Kenntnissen der nachhaltigen Landwirtschaft auszustatten. Das
Ausbildungscluster hat eine Trainingsfarm, ein fortschrittliches Landmaschinen
Ausbildungszentrum, ein Ausbildungszentrum für die Tierhaltung, verschiedene Berufsund
Fachschulen einschließlich Beratungs-und Schulungszentrum für erneuerbare Energien
sowie ein Zentrum für Erwachsenenbildung.
Eine Besonderheit der Universität ist das Zentrum für das akkreditierte Intern. MBA-
Programm für Agrarmanagement. Der Kurs hat über 1200 Studenten aus mehr als 30
Ländern erfolgreich ausgebildet. Da es speziell auf die Bedürfnisse von Entwicklungs-und
Transformationsländern eingeht, die ihren landwirtschaftlichen Sektor stärken wollen. Das
Programm arbeitet mit mehr als 40 Hochschulen von Südamerika bis hin nach Kasachstan
zusammen. Auch implementiert das Zentrum ein breites Spektrum an internationalen
Projekten in den Bereichen der landwirtschaftlichen Bildung und Ausbildung
