Conclusions<br />
• All investigated polymer / aluminium blisters are<br />
transparent enough for XRD measurements and do not<br />
disturb the main part of the tablet pattern.<br />
• No sample preparation required - measurement in blister<br />
• Differences in the chemical composition and<br />
polymorphism of tablets can be detected by XRD with<br />
high sensitivity<br />
• We could identify counterfeits that were “chemically<br />
analyzed” as correct<br />
• We could detect “families” of counterfeits
