Die No Milk Today-Maschine gehört, wie Sorry, not in
Service, zur Serie der Verweigerungsmaschinen. Sie
führt, vor einem britisch-nostalgischen Hintergrund,
das normale Verständnis von Maschinen als funktionalen,
zweckgebundenen Konstrukten ad absurdum.
Beide Maschinen haben eine Aluminiumhülle und im
Inneren eine sich drehende Konstruktion. No Milk
Today hat einen vorwärtsrotierenden Kern, auf dem
immer wieder zu lesen steht: „No Milk Today“.

The No Milk Today-Machine belongs to the series of
non-compliant machines, as does Sorry, not in Service.
In a context of British nostalgia, this machine reduces
to absurdity the normal understanding of machines
as functional, useful constructs. Both machines have
a metal case and a rotating mechanism on the inside.
No Milk Today has a forwards-rotating centre on which
the words “No Milk Today” appear again and again.
