Early Childhood Development Program
PJ LIBRARY
PJ Library in CNY (PJ for pajamas), a JCC
of Syracuse program, holds a monthly
PJ Library day in ECDP. Children are
encouraged to wear their pajamas to school
when the PJ Library coordinator visits to
read stories, sing songs and plan activities
with the children. PJ Library offers free,
high-quality Jewish books and music each
month to parents raising Jewish children
ages six months to eight years all across
North America.
FUNDRAISERS
Bottle & can drive
Please bring in your bottles and cans to
FM Returnables at 202 W. Seneca St. in
Manlius! We raised over $500 last year
with the help of our families. Make sure
you tell them it’s a donation for JCC’s
ECDP when you drop off your bottles and
cans.
Square One Art
In October the Early Childhood
Department will be raising money using
your child’s artwork! Parents can purchase
coffee mugs, key chains, T-shirts and
magnets that express their little one’s
creativity. Order forms will be in your
child’s mailbox.
Fall enrichment classes
Classes require pre-registration and are
subject to minimum enrollment.
Bricks 4 Kidz
This is a great class for
children to practice fine
motor skills, pattern
recognition and more. Your
child will build a different
LEGO animal each class while taking a
virtual trip to the zoo! We’ll build a camel,
elephant, giraffe and kangaroo using LEGO
Duplo bricks. Each class will start with circle
time and a book about the animal that will be
built. Following the animal build, there will
be some creative LEGO play time and crafts.

Throw the best
birthday party for
your little one. Ever.
We offer age appropriate games and
activities tailored to your preschooler’s
likes and interests. Parties at the JCC are
two hours long, and include all necessary
materials, invitations,
birthday cake
and party supplies.
Our staff will set up
and clean up, and
provide one hour
of structured fun.
$50 non-refundable
deposit is due at
time of booking.

Kids Yoga – Session 1
This child friendly yoga class
is designed to develop better
balance, muscle tone and
flexibility. Your child will also
learn breathing techniques
to promote calmness. The class is for the
introspective child.
