Team Land Rover wins 1 st Cartier Gold Cup
The 1 st Cartier Gold Cup was held at
Gstaad-Saanen airfield between August 17 and
20. Despite changeable weather conditions,
records crowds turned out to see Team Land
Rover, owned by Fabien Pictet and his son
Sascha, grab victory in the closing seconds of
an exciting final against Ricardo Tattoni’s Team
Cartier by the slim margin of 7 1 ⁄2 to 7. Milo

the recent interview in GstaadLife with the
new president of the Polo Club. It seems that
having had to suffer the constant noise of
the rampant construction industry we are now
to be invaded by hordes of paparazzi and all
the attended evil that comes with these people.
Obviously this person has no sense of the
serenity and beauty of this valley where we
have chosen to live, our security, or any respect
for our privacy. One can only hope that he comes
to understand the ways of Gstaad.”
