Hello Parks & Recreation Patrons,
I hope the spring issue
of the activity guide
and this letter find you
well. There are several
exciting elements of
this guide that I’d like
to point out to keep
you informed and save
you money. First of all,
this is the first issue
of the guide in the
new, quarterly format;
going quarterly gives
us an extra opportunity to WOW you with our programs
every year. Also in this issue, look for the $ symbol. This
symbol will mark activities that cost $20 or less. You
can also find these classes listed on a monthly basis at
spokaneparks.org.
My highlights for the spring guide are youth summer
camps, and the Wine, Ride & Dine event. Parents, it’s never
too early to start shopping for Summer Camps. The extra
time will help you find the best price and the right fit for
your child. My second highlight, the Wine, Ride & Dine is
something I am personally looking forward to. This event
starts with wine tasting from local wineries, then includes
a trip on the SkyRide and finishes off with dinner at
Anthony’s or Clinkerdagger. The cost is bundled, and when
you add it up, it’s a great value!
Have an excellent spring enjoying what our parks have to
offer as well as our programs.
Thanks for your support,
Randy Cameron
Park Board President
