Creative kids Science Camp
1 week | Ages 6-11 A fun-filled camp for
hands-on learning about science, there’s
experimentation, games, science projects
and crafts including exploding volcanoes,
nature hikes and making gak. Enjoy
theme days: animals, biology, the solar
system, earth science and chemistry where
activities are based on science and fun.

Earth Science Camp
1 week | Ages 6-11 Learn about fossils
and minerals, volcanoes and how rocks
are formed; how rivers flow to oceans
and lakes; tsunamis; and more. Explore
interesting rock formations in Edwidge
Woldson Park and create earth continents.
This camp combines science with craft
activities. Please bring a lunch. Corbin

Half-day Camp

disguises out of everyday materials

1 week | Ages 7-13 We will, we will, rock
you down, shake you up, like a volcano
ready to erupt! Come join us for a week of
choreographed dance and cheer routines.
Let the rhythm take you through our groovy
crafts, high kicking activities and tons more.

Summer Parks Experience Camp
1 week | Ages 6-12 Explore all the
fun pokane Parks have to offer! Camp
participants take part in diverse activities
including arts and crafts, traditional and
adventure sports, outdoor escapades,
nature projects, aquatic adventures and
many more. This camp is sure to cure your
summer boredom! A detailed schedule will
be sent after registration listing days at
Witter Aquatic Center, Riverfront Park and

Beginner Lego robotics Challenge
1 week | Ages 6-8 Students will use motors,
gears, levers, pulleys, beams and bricks to
design a new motorized or simple machine
vehicle each day that can meet a daily
challenge racing cars, throwing catapults,
climbing hills, and making daring rescues.

Lego robotics Contraptions
1 week | Ages 6-8 Students will be
challenged to build contraptions that spin,
stretch, and otherwise spring into action. This
is a great week for beginners and experts.
Each challenge has directions or students can

Lego robotics i
1 week | Ages 9-11 Is your child a future
engineer or programmer? If so, they will
enjoy this week. Using Lego NXT’s
your child will learn the basics of robot
programming. They will build a robot with
NXT programmable bricks and program it
to meet challenges of mazes, climbing an
incline, using sensors, following lines and
programming to meet missions. (Will be
working in groups of 2-3 students) Supply

Lego robotics ii
1 week | Ages 9-11 This week is an
opportunity to test your Lego NXT
programming skills. Using the FIRST Lego
League Body Forward board, your child
will be challenged to several missions on
the board, each worth varying points. The
week will be spent designing a robot and its
attachments, trying to accomplish as many
missions as possible. On Friday, a friendly
competition will be held to see which team
scores the most points. (Lego Robotics
I or previous experience recommended,
teams will have no more than 2-3 students)

games this class is for you. We will be
playing everything from Wii (rated E
games) projected on a big screen, to
