Partition Design and Commit Screens<br />

Indicates you want to remove resources from the partition. You will only be able to<br />

click allocated resources on the library map.<br />

Library Totals<br />

Note – The data in these fields is automatically updated from the SL Console partition<br />

workspace when you select a partition.<br />

Allocated Storage Cells<br />

Display only.<br />

Total number of storage cells allocated to the selected partition, based on the<br />

currently defined partition boundaries.<br />

Allocated Drive Bays<br />

Display only.<br />

Total number of tape drives allocated to the selected partition, based on the<br />

currently defined partition boundaries.<br />

Allocated CAP Cells<br />

Display only.<br />

Total number of CAP cells allocated to the selected partition, based on the currently<br />

defined partition boundaries.<br />

Library Totals<br />

Unallocated Storage<br />

Display only.<br />

Total number of storage cells in the library that are not allocated to any partition.<br />

Total number of CAP cells in the library that are not allocated to any partition.<br />

Legend<br />

Legend for the library map. The state of each library resource (storage cell, tape<br />

drive, or CAP cell) is indicated as follows:<br />

■ Not Accessible (white and x-ed out). Resource is not accessible to any partition.<br />
