The American Civil Liberties Union is available to help families who face discrimination<br />
because <strong>of</strong> an infectious disease. Nearly every state has an ACLU chapter <strong>of</strong>fice<br />
that can refer parents to local civil rights attorneys and advocacy organizations that can<br />
help them address disability rights issues.<br />
The main national ACLU <strong>of</strong>fice is in New York. There is also a national <strong>of</strong>fice in<br />
Washington D.C. and a southern regional <strong>of</strong>fice in Atlanta. The ACLU’s national web<br />
