5.3 Contact Erosion Limit<br />
Since the contacts are contained inside the interrupter,<br />
they remain clean and require no maintenance. However,<br />
during high current interrupters there may be a minimum<br />
amount of erosion from the contact surfaces. Maximum<br />
permitted erosion is 3 mm. To determine contact erosion,<br />
close the breaker and observe the vacuum interrupter<br />
moving stem from the rear of the breaker. If the WHITE<br />
MARK on each stem is visible, the erosion has not reached<br />
maximum value thus indicating satisfactory contact surface<br />
of the interrupter. If only the half of the white mark or less<br />
is visible, the vacuum interrupter must be replaced.<br />

5.3 접점 마모 한계<br />
접점이 진공밸브 안에 있어 깨끗하게 유지되며 보수가 필요하지 않지만,<br />
차단기에 높은 전류가 흐를 때 접점 표면에서 소량의 마모가 생길 수 있습<br />
니다. 최대 접점 마모 한계는 3 mm입니다. 접점 마모 정도를 확인하려면,<br />
우선 투입시킨 상태에서 차단기 뒷편 진공밸브의 가동 도체 부분의 흰색<br />
마크(mark)를 보십시오. 만약 흰색 마크의 반, 혹은 그 이하가 보일 경우는<br />
진공밸브를 교체해야 합니다.<br />
