December 5, 1947, as a non-cornmercial
association of radio amateurs
organized for the prornotion
of interest in Amateur Radio ccm'
munication and experimentation.
for the establishment and
advancement of the radio art and
of the public welfare.
QCWA is an incorporated association
without capital stock chartered
under the laws of the State
of New York, and is a tax exempt
501(C)3 organization under the
lnternal Revenue Code of 1986.
Its affairs are governed by a
President, Vice President.
Secretary Treasurer and a Board of
Directors. whose voting members
are elected every 1wo years by the
general membership.
ln order to qualify for membership
in QCWA one must have demonstrable
proof of having been first
licensed as an Amateur Radio
operator at least 25 years prior to
application for membership and
must be currently licensed.

It's a pleasure to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on your achievement
of qualifuing for our "WORKED 100 Members" Award.
Your accomplishment embodies what all QCWA Members should strive for,
to just Get on the Air! Our conventions are enjoyable, our scholarship program
is a good way to give back, but more of us need to follow your example.
