Activities Director
Dear Residents:
Happy New Year! It’s 2012 and it is going to be a
fabulous year at VeronaWalk� Make it your New Year’s
Resolution to get more involved with activities…
we need you! VeronaWalk is growing and we need
volunteers to help in so many areas, remember the
more helpers we have the more activities we can do!
We need help with the Activities office: filing, flyers,
etc, our website, setting up for events, staffing events,
clean up after events and so much more! There are also
so many residents with talents, share those with your
fellow residents by leading a class or workshop! Most
time commitments for volunteering are an hour or less�

Important Notice regarding
Activities reservations And Payments
Due to the high volume of Activities and for more
efficient tracking purposes, payment is required with
reservation for all activities� There will only be a 72hour
window for residents who are out of town� We
thank you in advance for helping us make this smooth
transition and to improve our overall accounting
records here at VeronaWalk�
Movie tickets
Discount movie tickets are available for Regal, Edward
and United Artists Studios. These can be purchased at
the HOA Office.
Premiere (unrestricted) Super Saver Ticket $7.50
VIP (Restricted) Super Saver Ticket $6.50
Tickets must be exchanged at the box office for movie
of choice. There is a 50 cent shipping and handling fee
charged to each order to cover these fees.
Orders are limited 10 tickets please.
SPEcIAL NEEDS AccommoDATIoNS
If you or someone in your party is
physically challenged and requires special
accommodations, please let us know when
registering for an activity� In most instances,
we are able to accommodate special needs by arranging
seating, purchasing special tickets and ensuring our buses
have wheelchair access, etc� Thank you!
OuR LIBRARY
If donating books please only
Hardcover Books Issued in 2005 or
later� We do not accept paperbacks or magazines� Our library
volunteers find it extremely frustrating when books older than
the year specified are left in the library. In years past these
volunteers have gone the extra mile and have taken these to
the local public library, but they will no longer be doing so�
Any books not within the guidelines will now be recycled. If
borrowing books, please return promptly. Thank you.
cancellation Policy
Please read the cancellation policy listed within the article for most
activities� As a general rule, for Special Events including Dinner Dances, there
will be a full refund for cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the event
date� For day trips the minimum time for cancellation is 15 days prior to the
trip date� For ticket purchases such as theatre, sporting events and other special
events as specified ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Cancellations after these dates
for any reason including medical or family are subject to forfeiture of the
entire cost unless the event is re-sold in which case a refund will be issued�
