Activation: Rigid stainless steel pull rod operates a<br />
stay open chrome plated brass ball valve that is<br />
equipped with a stainless steel stem.<br />
Sign: Universal emergency sign included.<br />
St<strong>and</strong>ard: 9" diameter floor flange with 1 1 ⁄4" hot dip<br />
galvanized steel pipe. Stanchion incorporates an<br />
exclusive cast air gap/supply fitting that separates<br />
supply <strong>and</strong> waste. Two 21" long self adhesive high<br />
visibility stripes in <strong>Safety</strong> Green <strong>and</strong> bright yellow to<br />

Heads: Twin Soft-Flo* patented ABS plastic antisurge<br />
eyewash heads in <strong>Safety</strong> Green (Model SP11).<br />
Dust covers protect heads <strong>and</strong> automatically release<br />
with water pressure.<br />
Activation: Stainless steel push flag <strong>and</strong> foot treadle<br />
operate a stay open chrome plated brass ball<br />
valve that is equipped with a stainless steel ball <strong>and</strong><br />
stem. Model 8300.158 is push flag operated only.<br />
Stream Control: Steady water flow under varying<br />
pressures assured with dual automatic pressure<br />
compensation devices.<br />
Strainer: Fully serviceable in-line, 50x50 mesh<br />
strainer filters debris from reaching the eyewash.<br />

Recommended for high ambient temperature locations<br />
where extreme heat or hot sun might cause<br />
internal water overheating. Flushes water through<br />
line when internal water temperature rises above<br />
110°F (43°C). Closes at 95°F(35°C).<br />
8300.158 Freeze Protection Bleed Valve:<br />
Recommended for areas that experience occasional<br />
“snap freezes”. Automatic thermal actuator bleed<br />
valve opens when internal water temperature drops<br />
below 35°F(2°C). Fully closes at 45°F(7°C). Ball<br />
valves are self draining to prevent freezing.<br />
