• Downsized the Mozart virtual machine and adapted it to run-time libraries of mobile
devices platforms focusing on I/O and light-weight threading schemes for the Symbian and
Embedded-Linux platforms.
• Conducted research in large-scale self-organizing distributed systems with a focus on
Structured Peer-To-Peer overlay networks. Results were published in a number of
competitive workshops/conferences as well as a book chapter (see list below).
• Designed and Implemented a wide variety of discrete-time simulation environments and
data analysis tools mostly suited to distribution on LAN/WAN clusters for studying
different aspects of large-scale networks using technologies such as: Mozart, Sqlite, J2SE,
Ant, Mysql, XML-RPC, Gnuplot, Shell Scripting, SSH, Kerberos and Matlab.
• Participated in administrative activities related to research projects funded by the
European Union (PEPITO, EVERGROW) and Swedish Funding agencies (OzLite &
PPC) . Participation included writing proposals, reporting and presenting results.
