<strong>Hansgrohe</strong> develops the first water-saving shower,<br />

which uses 50% less water than previous showers.<br />

<strong>Hansgrohe</strong> puts into operation Germany’s largest photovoltaic plant<br />

which produces its own solar power.<br />

1993<br />

<strong>Hansgrohe</strong> generates its own electricity from its solar tower<br />

in the Offenburg plant and is a pioneer in eco-architecture.<br />

1994<br />

The first <strong>Hansgrohe</strong> water symposium takes place. Experts, scientists and practitioners<br />

examine a broad range of water-related topics in lectures and workshops.<br />

2008<br />

EcoRight technology reduces the water consumption of all <strong>Axor</strong> faucets<br />

from 2.2 to 1.5 gallons per minute through a pressure-independent flow limiter.<br />

2009<br />

<strong>Axor</strong> forum in Kochi, India, on the topic “The added value of design with regard<br />

to sustainability” with the designer Jean-Marie Massaud as a guest speaker.<br />
