It took three years to renovate the aging
Sont Font Finca in the back country of
Mallorca. But the result is a newly-built
country home which embodies the
typical lifestyle of Mallorquine island
culture. The traditional building style
was combined with elegant modern
elements, whereby there was a
conscious decision to utilize local
materials in order to maintain the style
and charm of the building in its idyllic
country surroundings. The spacious,
light-flooded bathrooms feature the
classic natural Mares stone native to
the island. Fittings from Axor Citterio
emphasise the straightforward balance
of a traditional yet modern finca.

SLS HOTEL, BEVERLY HILLS
The SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills,
Philippe Starck‘s first luxury hotel
design for North America, is truly
emblematic of his commitment to
luxury and high design. Credited
with single-handedly reinventing every
aspect of the hotel experience in the
1990s and driving the “boutique hotel“
movement, Starck’s magic design touch
appears everywhere in the 297-room
property — including the bath. Axor
Starck showers and Axor Starck X
faucets were selected for the elegant
guest bathrooms and Axor Starck
tub fillers are featured in the hotel’s
state-of-the-art Ciel Spa.
