In the ENT field tempered water is applied in two fields:
n Ear irrigation at body temperature for removal of cerumen
n Caloric stimulation of the vestibular system at variable temperatures
The ear irrigation module 37°C professional (Hygrotherm) provides up
to 500 ml/min water at the right temperature. The ear irrigation module
37°C basic is a more simple version.
For the nystagmus stimulation the module Variotherm plus is used.
Here the auditory canal is irrigated for a limited time with water,
having a temperature between 20°C and 47°C, for thermal nystagmus
stimulation.

Warm water irrigation module with irrigation handle,
exchangeable jet connection, splash protection, fineadjustment:
Flow adjustable from 50 up to 500 ml/min.
Temperature adjustable between 36°C and 38°C.
Continuous availability due to connection to the water
supply. All parts are autoclavable. Water supply system
(REF 530.2040.0) or water connection system
(REF 530.2050.0) and water drainage system
(REF 530.2060.0) are required.
Ear irrigation module 37°C basic
Warm water irrigation system for connection to the suction
system. Two heated water storage containers 250 ml, and
control thermometer.
