B. Starting/Ending Travel. If to the GOV’Ts advantage, POC use may be authorized/approved to begin/end at the:
1. Member’s residence (from which the member commutes daily to the PDS),
2. Location at which the member maintains the family residence if it is not the residence from which the member
commutes daily to the PDS, or
3. Place near the member’s residence where the POC is garaged/stored.
C. Cost. Relative cost should be a consideration.
D. Example. The member’s PDS is Alexandria, VA. The member resides in Alexandria during the workweek and
commutes daily to the PDS. The member maintains the family residence in Norfolk, VA. The member may be
permitted to begin and/or end official travel on TDY at Norfolk, VA.
