he 9th annual Family center<br />
HoLLy Fest will take place<br />
thursday, Dec. 8 at the<br />
grosse pointe club (“Little club.”) proceeds<br />
from this holiday benefit support the Family<br />
center of grosse pointe & Harper Woods.<br />
Honorary chairs for the 2011 HoLLy Fest<br />
are rick and cat ruffner of grosse pointe<br />
park.<br />
cocktails begin at 6 p.m., followed by<br />
dinner at 7 p.m. the silent auction will take<br />
place from 6 – 8 p.m., followed by a live<br />
auction from 8:30 – 9:30 p.m. some of the<br />
auction items last year included vacations<br />
in Italy, colorado and northern michigan,<br />
red Wings hockey tickets, sole sisters party<br />
for 20, jewelry and much more.<br />
general admission is $85. Friend of<br />

Family center circle of Friends 3rd Annual Hayride<br />
will take place Friday, oct. 14 from 7 – 11 p.m. at the<br />
tompkins community center in grosse pointe park.<br />
come out and enjoy food, refreshments,<br />
entertainment and a horse drawn hay wagon ride<br />
provided by mcKenney Horse ranch! the highly<br />
talented barley boys Jug band will once again provide<br />
entertainment.<br />
tickets are $25 each. the event is for adults 21 and<br />
older, as beer and wine will be served. to purchase<br />
