Seat Design Selection<br />
The EO3100 <strong>and</strong> EO3800 are available<br />
with soft or hard seats. Each offers a<br />
range of performance suitable to many<br />
applications.<br />
The st<strong>and</strong>ard soft seat is our E-seat<br />
PTFE/PFA copolymer. You may also<br />
choose PTFE. Each is retained in the<br />
same manner.<br />

applications, the <strong>KTM</strong> Gratite ® seat<br />
offers superior performance <strong>and</strong><br />
reliability. Patented (U.S. Patent<br />
4,269,391), it is designed to operate<br />
within a temperature range from<br />
-50°F to 932°F. Gratite ® is a bonded<br />
composite of hard graphite material<br />
sealing surface the cushion seal,<br />
providing resiliency. The result is a<br />
seat with physical properties that are<br />
far superior to conventional ball valve<br />
seats of carbon graphite construction.<br />
