field all over again. This will lead to scheduling difficulties for our 2009 conventions, which
is why you do not have my schedule in hand at this time. I have already made our new
AGLs aware of this situation and how I hope to be able to remedy it. This will require some
creative scheduling which I sincerely hope can be completed. Part of this scheduling solution
will be holding joint conventions for multiple districts. Another part will hopefully be
using Friday nights or perhaps Saturdays for conventions. I ask that the companions give
this careful consideration and let’s see if we can make my task easier and less costly to our
Grand Chapter this way. I will be making every effort to have this schedule completed by
the end of this month, and it will be published via email to the Grand Line, DDGHPs, and
AGLs, and via my page on our Grand Chapter web site as dates are finalized.

Website and to make a presentation. Companions, it was an exciting year with the technology
and changes we have made to the Website. On the Website we have the “Royal Arch
Minute” and all the various downloads. Every time you go there you will see a different
“Royal Arch Minute” at the top of the Website, so I would suggest that you come back repeatedly,
come back often, you will always have something new to see. You should update
your schedules and send your Regional Officers the events that are going on in your districts.
There is also a State-wide calendar that is available where you can see what is happening
throughout the State and have an opportunity to attend something going on in the next district
which would be very interesting and a lot of fun. It could be a celebration, anniversary
or some other event.
I would like to invite E. . . Companion Bill Hyatt and R. . .E. . . Allan Bryant to the East.
As you know E. . . Hyatt is now our new Webmaster and has put a lot of work into it. We
thought it was very important that we should recognize that R. . .E. . . Allan Bryant for many
years put a lot of labor and a lot of love into the Website that we had. Demands on his schedule
are such that he needed some help with it and we are fortunate that we had E. . . Companion
Bill to help.

Royal Arch Masons, presented a certificate to R. . .E. . . Allan Bryant. The certificate read as
follows: This certificate is presented to R. . .E. . . Allan M. Bryant, Sr. in appreciation of the
dedication and skill with which he served as the Webmaster of this Grand Chapter for
several years. The Grand Chapter, State of New York, Royal Arch Masons
hereby salutes his untiring efforts to bring us into the advancing age of technology. In commemoration
of this honorable service this Certificate is hereby issued and in testimony
thereof, we have caused the Seal of this Grand Chapter to be affixed hereunto on this Seventh
day of March 2009.
R. . .E. . . Bryant spoke briefly and said there were a lot of brothers and companions that
made this happen initially. I want to thank M. . .E. . . Dave Stoy, who was the original inspiration.
There were a lot of gliches in the beginning and I am glad to see that it is working
so well now. Thank you.
Companions, I know that the gliches are not gone, but if we have some problems I
know Bill Hyatt or his wife Florence will take care of the problem.
