ACCESS<br />

The ma<strong>in</strong> entrance is via Calle San Mateo. The door has a cross-bar, and is<br />

immediately followed by 3 steps mak<strong>in</strong>g it <strong>in</strong>accessible. There is a portable<br />

ramp available (2.18 m long and 1.0 m wide) for use <strong>in</strong> the event of entry by the<br />

alternative accessible entrance not be<strong>in</strong>g possible. The ramp’s <strong>in</strong>cl<strong>in</strong>e is variable,<br />

depend<strong>in</strong>g on where it is used.<br />

People with reduced mobility should enter by way of the rear of the build<strong>in</strong>g at<br />

14, Calle Beneficencia. They should telephone first. The doorway is 1.60 m<br />

wide, and there are no steps. Follow<strong>in</strong>g the door is a stair lift (300 kg maximum<br />

load) which descends four 16 cm steps.<br />

The route to the reception is accessible via the San Mateo Courtyard. The<br />

doors have a width of ≥ 80 cm.<br />

The reception and <strong>in</strong>formation desk of the museum is <strong>in</strong> the lobby of the<br />

museum. It is at a height of 85 cm<br />

by a lift. Access to the rest of the museum is restricted. The cab has 2<br />

doors which form a right angle. The exit to the first floor leads to a passage 90<br />

cm wide, from where the route around the exhibition beg<strong>in</strong>s.<br />
